Ooof! We're on forever wait for a replacement driver's side rear quarterpanel window, thanks to #OaklandPolicing(TM). Or is it #OaklandFailedState(TM). Probably both.

The good news is, I get to drive the car a lot more since my wife doesn't want to drive it with the taped up window. Turns out, though, that a few layers of duct tape are just as quiet on the freeway as the original window.

She's also convinced that the Model Y is kind of a turd of a car.

I’m waiting for the tow truck that Jaguar Roadside has dispatched. I’m about an hour and a half from home so having to find a rental. I was told not to bring it to the dealer in Columbia where I’m stranded, so I had to call Jaguar Roadside back and change the drop off. This is the second time I got stranded, first one was my fault and this one not so much. Car just turned over 29,000 miles and I just ordered a new set of tires, hopefully I’ll still need them.
What happened was I pulled in at 20%. Was only going to charge to 50%. At about 45% I used the Jag app to precondition car for a 5 minute departure. After about 3 or 4 minutes it made a large bang and the car shook, I thought someone had hit me while parked and charging. I unplugged the charger and it continued to act as if car was still plugged up, as it was financially charging me. Called Electrify America and they were very nice but we’ll see. Anyway battery traction fault light and 12 volt battery went bonkers, no door locks, brakes pulsating, and general weird stuff. I’ll let you know what Greenville Jaguar says. Hopefully nothing major, but the loud bang concerns me.
I was in Greenville last week and got two warnings (see OK to drive with caution Break pedal feel reduced; and...) and went to Greenville Jaguar dealer. They cannot check my car or give me a loaner and ask me to drive back to Columbia.

My 2019 FE is in Columbia dealer now but not sure how soon I will get it back. The problem is that dealers in SC do no know I-pace well since there are very few of those. Greenville dealer is much bigger than one in Columbia and hope they can have your car fixed soon.

Your story made me thinking twice to charge at those 350KW EA stations.

Sorry to hear that. Strange that when I broke down in Columbia, the dealer there told me don’t bring it there. So it’s back at the dealer I bought it from in my home town. I’m probably done doing road trips that require me to charge at EA chargers.

I drove by dealer on 2/28 to drop off current year license plate registration sticker, thinking they might want to be legal on the road if they road test it. Car had been pushed back outside and appeared not to have been worked on. Emailed them that day requesting current status, no response. Sent another off just now. Amazing the lack of response.😡 It looks like I’ve traded for their loaner, an F-Pace.

At least you have an F-Pace. I am driving a Nissan Versa in the snow while waiting for an aux battery. I actually had to abandon the car at home today because it had a flat tire (not JLR's fault, but still icing on the cake for this 3 week adventure). I should have taken a picture when I stopped by last week to take some personal items out of the car. It was covered in ice and snow jammed between two cars with missing fenders. Looked like it was in a junkyard. Sad to see...

One seller on Ebay in Latvia claims 2 business days to US but the estimated delivery date is a little longer.
Another seller there in UK has estimated times looking to be almost 2 weeks.
Search for EK151 Exide battery and determine the shipping to you in Canada.

It might be in earlier posts but have you involved the jag na team?
UPDATE! It’s alive. I checked the remote app and it had updated from the message given for the last 4 months. So I emailed my service adviser and he emailed me back it would be ready tomorrow. I’m sure no software, 12 volt battery exchange, or battery health checks have been done.

Got it back today. And they addressed all of my concerns. Great to have it back. Now do I look for an extended warranity?
