Any updates on your case? Mine has been in the dealer for service for over 5 months!
Yes, I did go through arbitration. My result was disappointing--the arbitrator ruled that JLR had another chance to fix my vehicle, despite my reading of the rules that they did not. I decided to decline the arbitrator's ruling, thereby preserving my chance to seek a court remedy. In the end, I settled with JLR--can't disclose the details due to a NDA. Despite all the trouble, I still think the car is fantastic. It also seems to be dialed in right now....knock on wood, it has been solid since the 'final fix'.

Just posted my 12 month saga of repairs on another post but sciencegeak suggest to post here.

1. Reason for buyback (lemon or other reason)
- It was a request I made, they have offered minimal assistance. Asked for a buyback, second option just trade me for one that works, third extend warranty at least for the time it was in the shop. Big fat no on all accounts.
2. If it was a lemon, what triggered the lemon law (e.g., too many days in service, etc)?
- Was told its been in service to long. In service yes, in use no.
3. If it was a lemon, what was the nature of the defect that led to lemonization?
- every visit to the shop (over 2 months each) could have lead to lemon if filed sooner. Batteries, suspension, motors.
4. What was the experience with JLR?
- Horrible. Dealer has been cordial but dealer blames jlr and jlr blames dealer. They don't seem to understand I just want a car that works. I paid 50k and it sits while they try to figure it out.
6. Did you walk away from JLR and/or the I-Pace or did you get another I-Pace or JLR vehicle?
-100% done with JLR, even my discovery, which i love has go.

1. Lemon (Dec 2018 manufactured FE, purchase Sep 2019).
2. Total days in service met my state's lemon law standard.
3. Two instances of non-functional center console screens, suspension issue, persistent audio quality issues.
4. I had a terrible one-time experience with a JLR phone rep. From then on, my dealer's Service Manager handled everything. I could not be more thrilled at how the dealer handled the situation.
5. Pay off of loan balance and refund of my down payment (I didn't press for refund of the 1 payment I made to-date).
6. Purchased Audi e-tron.
I’m in the process of the buy back for my first edition 2019. Just looked at the Audi Q8 etron. Are you happy with it?

JLR just released another recall for the high voltage battery. It can overheat when charging over 80%, possibly leading to a fire. JLR's remedy as of now is to limit the battery charging to 80% while they develop a software solution. They give no ETA for the solution. I have not brought it in for the recall yet, but have initiated the buyback procedure. I absolutely love this car, but with Jaguar essentially shutting down for a year to transition to EVs only, I'm concerned about what will happen. It's a 2019, so the warranty is about to expire...
