My version seems to be stuck at 2.1.6

how do I upgrade to 3.0.0? Hopefully I don’t have to take it to the dealer. I have wireless CarPlay though. So maybe I already have 3.0.0?

I just called. They said SOTA is available and their end is showing the latest version as S21B_21.37.2-778242

Went ahead and scheduled a service to figure out this and other minor bugs.

two months in, first service visit scheduled. 🙏

That is a Touch Pro version number. I even asked if it was for PIVI Pro on the phone and they said yes. I just wish they would say they are not sure as opposed to saying something false.

Indeed, 21B is not for a Pivi Pro car. That's for Incontrol Touch Pro (up to model year 2020 for the I-pace). Did you give them the VIN for your car and have them verify specifically for your car?

Yeah. Clearly something doesn’t compute bc if I didn’t have 3.0 I wouldn’t have wireless CarPlay. Prolly a software bug.

I told them the last 4 of my vin and they verified that I bought 2022 I pace from them when I scheduled the service appointment. Lol.

The whole reason I got started on this was bc of this thread.

I wanted to see if I could get %charge on the EV tile. That’s all. Such a simple request.

Only the last 4 of the VIN? They really need the last 8 but if they did verify you have a 22 then they must have found the right car. Did they check the SOTA is toggled on in TOPIx? I guess you'll find out at your vet visit.

Thanks for the help!

I took it in to the dealer and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. So they just gave it back.

As long as it working I guess it’s fine.

hi pcst, thanks for updating the table with the major enhancements of the various Pivi Pro OS updates. Very useful. Do you know if and where one can access the respective release notes online ?

Hello! No, they certainely exist but I don't know where I could retrieve them. They are not mentioned in Topix. I just take the info from the update section of pivi. The last update was funny, since it referred to improvements made to ICE cars only ;)

Interestingly my 22 still shows 3.2 installed in Feb as the most current version. And my visit to the dealer to provide first scheduled service didn’t change this, although the claim they did the H441 recall.
OTA and up to date software is a critical and expected part of a modern day EV, and when it solves a recall issue it should be pushed to all available vehicles with haste. Jag has a long way to go on the UX front. I hope they are investing in this during their platform transition.

Can confirm that 4.0.1 was released in the United States. Software updated when I went in for my 2-yr service.
Can you publish a pic of this showing 4.0.1 in your display? I called JLR after the dealer was unable to update beyond 3.3.2 while the car was in for routine service and the H441 mod. JLR "looked into it" and came back to respond that 4.0 has not been pushed for SOTA yet. Very confused by this...
