I was rummaging around and found this sticky post that seems potentially useful still. If someone wants to contribute more current information it would be great. If not I'll unstick it because it's stale.

Forgive me for posting here BUT I do find it difficult to navigate this forum and at the moment CANNOT find a convenient way to message you privately. First, I thank you for dedication to the information you supply here and I am an avid follower. I have no access to Topix. I do have a 2019 FE and believe all software current based on what I see using InControl. Other software releases I do not know how to find the versions. The dealer tells me all is current.

The sticky is of value to me as long as the latest posting is less than 3-6 months old. With the release of PIVI it becomes harder for us original owners to know where we stand regarding SOTA and current releases. (I remain jealous of those who have it since its much faster and might even support wireless CarPlay, my Discovery loaner did). As you may be aware, my TCU was replaced and I lost my free AT&T cellular data as originally provided. I was pleased to know about the eSIM in the TCU which likely explains the signal strength bars shown on the upper screen right side while the cellular data attempt to connect simply continues? I have to depend on my WiFi to check for updates.

In my most recent updates I notice that CarPlay behaves differently with regards to its startup screen. When using the CPlay2Air dongle for wireless connection, the Home Screen icon font size is correct all the time. When using the wired cable that font size sometimes is very LARGE and annoying. Such is the life with a FE model I guess.

I notice that proximity sensor choice (temporarily allows sound mute) is grayed out. Guess that means I have to turn it on again via settings on its raised screen? Previous post reminds me of puzzle as how to temporarily exit vehicle and leave ignition on?

After updating to newest Infotainment software I am experiencing a problem which is aptly described in the attachments. I have contacted the dealer and Jaguar Customer Relations and am waiting for a response. Anybody else have a similar problem? I feel this is a safety issue. How can I reinstall this update or must I go to the dealer? Is this issue a bug in the updated software? Thoughts?
