Long time reader on the forum first time poster. Was checking in if anyone had success with a buyback. 2019 HSE here. I have owned it for two years and it's been in the shop for one of thoes years (about 340 days) with very short stints of 'ownership' between. First failure was 12v battery, over a month in the shop, then traction failure, they replaced one module, took about 5 months, then software and a few weeks until failure came up again, few more months. Then a slew of random things like charge port, leaking windshield, suspension, another month and a half with no loaner. I got it back on a Friday and Monday it left me stranded with what they are calling a pawl motor and a few other things they are being coy about, that was first week in May and they are still working on it. Curious what they all replaced this time. Now the main warranty has run out besides battery so I'm terrified when the day comes to take it home. I tried to get jlr to buy it back but they said keep the car but here is 4k off a new or cpo. The dealer won't trade it in at any price so not sure what good that does me. Hard to sell a broken car at the dealership. I asked to buy a warranty with the 4k and they said no. I'm not finding anyone posting about a successful buy back? Since everything but the body is new am I good to go or should I loose my butt and sell? Sorry for the rant and thanks for reading.
