Interestingly, a slightly revised version of the bulletin was posted on June 22nd. Attached here, the only change is this part:

In line with recommendations made by manufacturers who have had similar issues and until such time as the safety recall remedy has been completed, retailers and customers should park away from structures for 30 days after the update. Where possible, vehicles should be charged outside.

They also released a new technical bulletin today related to the recall and new software: I-PACE Traction Battery Fault Detected warning message with P1B48-00 stored

Issue:
Amber warning message Traction Battery Fault Detected with DTC P1B48-00 Hybrid/EV Battery Voltage Deviation stored in the BECM. HV battery is unable to charge over 75% when this warning message and fault is stored.

Cause:
One or more internal cell faults have been identified in the HV battery pack

Action:
Do not perform any additional vehicle diagnostics. Raise a TA for for this concern.

West coast here. 4.0 not yet available over the air. I just updated to 3.3.3.

Hmm.. why do we need to park our cars outside for 30-days after the update? Is JLR not confident about the patch? 30-days seems arbitrary.

My guess is because it takes time to collect data on the battery temperature during charging (ie on a warmer night etc) so they want to give the new software time to collect enough data

Yes, I think that's precisely it. The new software monitors the battery for a certain condition to be present that correlates to failure. That condition must not always be present, and has the potential to present itself over time and normal use.

Got my update installed at the dealer today while I waited. All of my modules are on the latest version now, which for reference equates to: BS-AAL-BF-AF-BE
Just charged past 75% luckily. So far so good!

I thought guinea pig when I found out. Not on purpose BTW. Had it scheduled for service on the day the recall info came out. I will definitely post if software limited.
Did not see a post from you above charging being limited. Just got the update today and currently charging car. Curious if your vehicle charged to capacity or if it was limited to 75-80% ?

I got off the phone with my dealer today and they told me nothing has been released to them yet.... I told them, that's interesting because other dealers are installing the software. I like my local dealer, but they are pretty clueless when it comes to the I-pace.

Hi Densjag, not sure if you were asking a question to me or another member, but I was able to charge my 2022 MY car past the 75% limit to 80%. I did not want to take it to 100% as I had brought it all the way up from 20% that day and didn’t want to push my luck. Also, looking at other threads on this forum, it appears that many members do not take their cars above 80% unless they are planning a trip. Regards BostonJag

For what it's worth, I got the update today and come home and charged to 100% without issue.

Your dealership is mistaken. The new software is globally available in the US via their standard diagnostics tool; Topix Cloud. If they login to topix and put in your VIN, they'll see the recall campaign and supporting documentation, including an FAQ that explicitly states "the software is currently available" and a separate document containing instructions for installing the update.

I know they are pretty clueless...but I thought about it and I'm not sure I don't want my car to be the first one they try to update.

I'm not so sure I want to be their first "Victim" :) I probably will wait a few weeks and try again.

Almost 0% chance their tech has never installed an update before via Topix Cloud. This is a standard procedure that is frequently carried out for various modules across the car. In fact, many I-PACEs have had mandatory BECM updates prior to customer delivery. All they have to do is press a few buttons and wait for the update to install. I think likely a bigger risk here is waiting.

I charged to 82% with no issue. Apparently based on your charging info and mine, the update does not limit charging to 75% unless the control module senses a problem. While at the dealer yesterday, West Palm Beach, Florida, As I was waiting for my car to be finished with the update, I saw more I-Pace's in one place than I have seen in over 3 years. Everyone being brought in for the update. Driving the car home there was nothing different about it.

I got the software update yesterday. Today I was able to charge from 51% to 100%. I have noticed in the past that my state of charge never shows 32% or 31%. When driving it jumps straight from 33% to 30%. Same when charging - it goes straight from 30% to 33%. I will try to run it down to 30% or below to see if the new software detects that as an issue.

I took mine in today (Atlanta) waited several hours they did some camera updates but said they could not do the recall software update because Topix was down. Topix screen was showing "Communication Error". At least I got a car wash.

I got my software update yesterday. Today, I am struggling to get the car charged above 55%. It is a hot day (over 90 degrees), so maybe the software update is doing its job. I hope that is not the case with the hot summer weather arriving, as it is going to severely limit the useable range.

So you're seeing a reduction in charging rate? I am starting to suspect the same, but I don't have a big sample size yet. Have been seeing more pronounced dips after prolonged charging; well into the 5kw/h range, which was almost unheard of before. I also saw charging go to zero briefly, also something I've never seen before. Coincidentally, it appeared to happen right around when the car was potentially crossing the 75% threshold:
