That's incredible range. Most I've gotten is 230mi

 

Mine at 6.5 years and 70,000 miles shows 282 fully charged in eco mode and the climate control off.
Too bad that it was recalled.

 

I rarely use Eco mode, mostly, normal and sport mode.

 

Can't say I've used eco mode, sport is too much fun.

 

Impressive. I'm guessing that's on 18 or 20" wheels? Never seen much higher than the 230's on my 2020 w/ 22" rims.

I rarely charge to 100%, mostly from about 20% to 80% and generally only use L2 charging at work and home. I only used DC fast charging once in a while when on the road.

I think we get caught up in the EV battery and forget that the 12 volts on ICE vehicles do well to last 5 years. That said, my early 2019 ”problems” were in fact tired 12 volts that died after 5 1/2 years. I surrendered my dream car last week.

 

Did you reset GOM when you charged to 100%? Last time I reset GOM I got 411 kms, (255 miles) - I've had my car is 4.5 years and 81 000 kms (50 000 miles)

I did not reset anything.

 

The battery still works fine after 5 years and 9 months. A SoH test surprised me with a 88,9% score after 224.000 km's (140.000 miles).
If it stays as reliable as it was until now, let's go for the next 200.000 km's!

 

This is amazing!!! Can you report any major faults, service, or traction battery issues within the last 5 years? Would love to keep mine for 5 years and want to see what may be possible.

 

That's amazing. Does the car get to "learn" your driving to calculate range that good? Only had mine 5 weeks and max it shows is 255 miles..... maybe this will increase? Also where is the emergency frunk release, in case ever needed?

 

Yes it will start guesstimating based on your driving style.

It doesn't matter what the car tells you, it's usually wrong and the real range is determined by the drives you do.
I once had a road trip on country roads up the Oregon coast with speeds between 35 and 50 mph and my range was >300 miles, as determined by actual driving.
Heading home on the freeway at 77mph it dropped to 160 miles.

 

My 2020 with 21” wheels will consistently show 281 miles of range in the summer months. The actual real world range is significantly less and averages around 200. Interestingly the range displayed in winter months is usually right around 200 miles which is accurate to its actual range. Not sure what causes the higher GOM in the summer.
