Will the I-Pace be a collector car?

I just looked it up and per the Internet, less than 8,000 I-pace’s were sold last year and well over 100,000 Tesla model Y’s. Will the I-pace become a rare collector car as one of the first cool EV’s?

Not especially, but it will maintain some good value in the long term.

If the battery was upgradable or inexpensive to replace maybe? Doubt it would be like an original Apple computer or 67 Mustang...
I could see it being a niche vehicle that some people would want to have. And the small numbers can be good thing for resale.
Maybe should’ve pulled the trigger on a first edition!
I had two BMW i3's previously. To my surprise, the price has doubled since I turned one in for lease end and sold one to buy the iPace. Worst car decision ever to sell my super fun and bullet proof little car for a pittance. I've read that people are starting to look at the quirky little car fondly. The I Pace is an awesome car when working, and low numbers were made as someone else said. Might be.

Is there any way to know how many first editions were made?

Were they made in batches with sequential VINs, paint codes or randomly?
