Anyone know of any issues with getting the wheels cleaned at a car wash with the carbon inserts? Just wanted to make sure that the solutions they use won’t damage the carbon fiber.

Oh you snuck in he legal disclaimer! I was already preparing the lawsuit. The emotional damages caused by my blemished carbon fiber inserts can only be placated by a very large sum of money.:grin2:

Seriously, if the car wash uses anything that would harm the finish on anything, it's the car wash from h*ll. The good ones use what they sell as environmentally safe.

I love the 22s, but I am more interested in the asthetics than the ride quality. I honestly haven’t found it to be overly harsh either, but it’s also something I don’t pay a lot of attention to. The wheels are stunning in person. You won’t be disappointed!

Just changed from 5068 style 20'' (Pirelli winter tyres) to 5056 sytle 22'' rims and they look awesome!

I really like the 5068 rims I ordered the car with but sometimes, when taking a sharp bend at higher speed they felt a little wobbly. Obviously, the 22'' rims make the car much steadier in these kinds of "dynamic" driving situations.

During normal driving I feel the bumps in the road more - even though I have the air suspension that should adapt. If it really does then not to the comfort level smaller rims provide.

Oh, and the sound is different, more prominent, especially on bumps or cobblestone - which I don't favour, I like my EV as silent as it can get.

But still, the car looks much more "complete". Seamless. Sleeker. And I love the looks even more!
