Dealer installed TCM version 19.2 but WattCat still shows 16.2.

It has been weeks.

Is there a way to get WattCat to update the "Details" page?

Love the car by the way. I drove an Airbus 330 for the last 15 years but the I Pace is just as fun! ( almost)

WattCat only reports what is found on Jaguar servers. Maybe there was a step in the dealer update process that didn't get done, or there isn't a step in the process for the dealer to update that information. One would think Pathfinder would do the update automatically.

Mine has said 14.2 all the time though it was updated to 18.2 back in late 2019. Functionality is not affected.

My vehicle connectivity system also shows 19.2 but wattcat reports tcu 14.2. I assume these are the same systems.

You have to know that the TCU version number (19.2, 16.2, 14.2, ...) is not an info that is available in the JLR API, and wattcat (and all tools that rely on the API) only has access to the data provided by the API. For your information, here is what the API on my car is providing (look here if you want to see them all : https://ipace.herokuapp.com/static/param.html) :

TU_STATUS_HW_VERSIONJ8A2-70719-FG
TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_CONFIGJ7A3-70713-BY
TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_MAINJ8A2-70712-AY
TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_SECONDARYJ8A2-70712-BY

On the other hand, here are the real values that we can get from the TCU:

J8A2-70719-FG (=TU_STATUS_HW_VERSION)
J8A2-70718-FZ
J8A2-70712-BZ (=TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_SECONDARY)
J8A2-70712-DZ
J8A2-70712-FY
J8A2-70712-GK
J7A3-70713-BZ (=TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_CONFIG)
J7A3-70713-HY
J8A2-70712-AZ (=TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_MAIN)
J8A2-70719-FG

As you can see, the API reports TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_CONFIG=J7A3-70713-BY, but in fact , it is J7A3-70713-BZ, TU_STATUS_SW_VERSION_MAIN=J8A2-70712-AY, but is fact it is J8A2-70712-AZ.

For unknown reason, the API is not reflecting the correct serial number for software number, and therefore, Wattcat, that tries to translate software number (J8A2-70712-AY) into version number (19.2) is fooled by the wrong software number.

By the way, the real version number can be read from the TCU directly, and it looks like "19.201"
