Have warning light and notice : OK to drive carefully. Reduced brake pedal resistance.

Any idea what this means and what to do ??

I would take it seriously and bring it in for service if it’s driveable. I had gotten that warning along with others such as ‘traction battery fault’. It first occurred in my garage and I thought it might just be a software glitch. I tried recharging it in my garage and a short time later, after charging, the warning lights disappeared. The car drove normally for a couple of weeks.

Then one morning I decided to try out the parking feature at a nearby strip mall. At one point I turned the car off and locked the doors. When I tried restarting the car minutes later, I got all the warnings once again. But this time the car wouldn’t start. I tried everything to no avail and wound up having to be towed.

It turned out to be nothing more than a very loose ground connection. But it shows you how devastating a simple issue can be.
