Congrats @JoergW

What color and options?

Jaguar has already opened up the waiting list for the I-Pace? I'm surprised as we still don't know what the production model will look like.
Knowing that the I-Pace will come to market during the 2nd half of 2018, i'm having a hard time believing an order was placed already, unless you got yourself on to a waiting list, that I can understand. Dealers sometimes start their own list in preparation for the order cues open.
Probably on the dealer waiting list then, those are pretty common when they're coming out with a special model like the I-Pace. Worth the effort depending on how many units each dealership is allocated.
With that being said anyone interested should also check their dealers just to get in early. The last thing you want to find out is that you have to wait 6months or a year extra just because you didn't get in early enough.

Have you got it yet? Post some pics!

I guess he didn't or got tired of forums which is easy when you finally have the product the forum is about.
But the i-Pace hasn't been revealed to the world yet. It's still under wraps so nobody will have one right now.

Oh yeah right, the fact the concept still looks a lot like a production model throws me off.
That being the case this member might come back when things heat up a bit around here.
At least JoergW is on the waiting list already, I think Jaguar has already taken around 25,000 orders for the I-Pace and that's a pretty long wait for those who put in their deposits later.
I heard that too, though autoevolution claims that the orders are "likely made by its network of dealers and not the end-client". I guess that means dealerships are pre-ordering a few to put on their showroom floors for customers to walk in and buy.
Depending on size of a dealer sometimes they have more than 1 demo. Seen cases of them keeping one in the showroom and then one for road tests which also goes home with the sales manager. Jaguar is at a pivotal point for the brand so I won't doubt some dealers have more than one demo.
They also don't have all that many models in their lineup compared to some of the more prominent brands, so they'll have to fill their showroom floors with something and currently that's probably the E-Pace with the I-Pace taking center stage later on.
Frankfurt - the appeteaser - now what?

The Frankfurt Auto Show came and went, and though we were treated to a more likely representation of the production I-Pace [E400] it was still disguised behind the lowered suspension and racing gear of the eTrophy - cool - but not what we hoped for.

I grant you that it was our expectations, though based on automotive news sources, that were let down, but where's the new timetable. Clearly somebody spent a lot of time and money building this Forum - someone who has his finger on the pulse of the Auto Industry's goings on and . . . . . timetables.

So when can we expect the "Great Reveal" my dealer hasn't any new information [I really want to see the interior, its tech-specs and model/option groupings]
Well that's a let down, was hoping to see the production ready I-Pace without any covering and not under the guide of the etrophy model. Hope Jaguar debuts it soon because the wait is killing me.

I know what you mean but I have seen enough convincing information on the i-Pace being set to come out before this forum even came around. It was people in the Jaguar community that brought up this car to me. Its a new product from Jaguar, the first of its kind and quite possibly a situation where we can expect some spin off models... so at this point its just patience.

I am still here ............ waiting :)

someone was told at the IAA in Frankfurt, that because of a supplier for a added 3 phase charger 22kw (in countries with 3P) the start
here in Germany could be in Q1/2019. So that puts me further back in the queue :-( - no early bird

So, I am happy with my XF Sportbrake and ................waiting

Glad to see you're still around!
I will definitely have a look at that forum, this one is sort of...dead... but hopefully it will pick up. Doesn't seem like it launched too long ago.
If Q1 2019 is true then in a way i'm happy, more time to prepare to get a better spot in line as order books open up as not too many people will know.
Could Jaguar not start selling the I-Pace ahead of the charger release? Or perhaps they're adapting the I-Pace to accommodate the 3 phase charger.
I originally though deliveries will begin in around 8 or so months.
