I am liking this:
  • A 78 kWh battery pack for a range of ‘over 250 miles (400 km)’ based on WLTP
  • Dual Motor 300 kW powertrain (a 150 kW electric motor on each axle)
  • 11 kW onboard charger and 150 kW DC fast-charging capability
  • 0 to 60 mp in 4.7 seconds
  • Top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h)

yea but it's still just an xc40 ... what's the point of an EV when it's not designed to take advantage of the EVness?

The XC40 has been designed from the beginning to have an EV variant. BTW identical specs as the Polestar 2, which shares the same platform.

Well, not designed solely to be an EV, but still designed with batteries and motors in mind. A compromise, not pure.

All I can tell is I'd have to back into some Electrify America sites, and the hood is long enough to have a front trunk of significant size. Which is something I don't need or want. I keep my portable 7kW charger in the front of the I-Pace, so I seldom access the front storage. Stowing stuff in the back or cab is much easier.

The price is attractive but they don't tell you what a loaded one costs.
