I just read this post today on UK forum from "Chewy":
The latest I have had is that Jaguar has stopped upgrades to S18D because it has too many bugs and problems in users’ cars. They are telling dealers to wait “for a while” until 19A is released.


I have S18C and have had very few issues. My vehicle is going in Monday for a couple of sale-promised mods but I'm wondering if I should hold off on Infomatics upgrade to S18D? Maybe still request the Telematics upgrade to 15.2, though? (still on 14.2)


Are most users having Infomatics issues on S18D or S18C?

I have 18D and had earlier problems after delivery during the first two weeks. Since then, really nothing than occasional lag at startup.

I'm still running 18C and 14.1? and it seems to be better than before. All I've done is 2 Nav Map updates.

Until the flash is released that either fixes the 84kW charging limit, or the Delayed Charging software, I have no need for new software as long as I take a minute to get buckled in and situated.

I upgraded to 18D and have had no issues, and it did "fix" some annoying things, as well ad some new features I do use.

What new features do you see? I recently got 18D and haven't noticed any differences.

Anyone have 15.2 telematics? Apparently it is available, but shop Foreman at Livermore dealership couldn't find it. Mine was updated to 14.2 from 13.2.

I plan to get any upgrades at the first service at the two year mark. No hurry unless I find a compelling reason to add a feature or fix a bug in something I actually use. Works fine as is IMO.
