Hello! My 2021 now says there's a hybrid battery malfunction (probably 12V battery, just a guess).
No side effect till now, the car is working fine.

Nope, drove 20 miles today, very short trips, 2 long stops, and it's still there. No side effects, I didn't notice anything.
We'll see what the dealer says :)
My 3yr loan is ending soon, they have proposed to extend it for 2 more years, it will depend on this I think ;)

Must be a monday thing....I had various errors this moring - Car wont start, Wattcat says 12V is low...
So hopefully 12V Battery - Never had them replaced in the 55k miles & 4 1/2 years I have had the car. Still under warranty - just....SO hopefully that will see me through...

Boy am I tired of battery related error messages and issues. I had the H441 recall work done last week. A day later I got the brake pedal feel error so I parked the car for a few days. Today I got a slew of new errors some of which I had never seen before.

You can seen them scroll by on the attached video. Now the car wont move. I'll put a trickle charger on the starter batter and see what changes over the course of the day. BTW I had all of the 12 volt batteries replace a few months ago under warranty.

Wattcat says that the one 12 volt battery that is monitored has 14.8 volts.

Starman67 and ThinAir descriptions fit the auxiliary battery & wiring harness symptoms. Possibly the other software updates related to keeping the 12V batteries charged have not been applied.

@pcst has a MY21 so it will be interesting to know what dealer diagnosis is.

Will post updates as I get them....Service tech thought it was just 12V Aux battery but needs to run some tests....

Update as of this morning -
12V Aux battery has failed
Also Power Distribution Box has Fault ( this is new - service rep said that fault could propagate from wiring harness to power dist box then battery.... Not sure I believe this any feedback useful...)
Checking Wiring harness now....
Going to be in for a few more days at least....

Car back - all seems to be ok right now.
Any update @pcst ?
Hello! One battery module must be replaced, the dealer keeps the car. ETA end of the month. They are certified to work on batteries, that's a chance because not no so many dealers are. Wait and see !
...and I see I have published this answer thru another forum user, must be a mistake on my side :)

@Starman67 is there any notation found on paperwork for fault code(s) and work done?

Why do you want wiring diagrams? There are separate diagrams for auxiliary battery charging and the PSDB.

The auxiliary charging diagram is simplified quite a bit. It lacks showing clearly how the PSDB gets power from DC-DC converter. Looking at the diagram, one might infer that it is getting power from the startup battery to charge the auxiliary battery via the PSDB. In fact, the DC-DC converter power is being supplied to the battery junction box and from there goes to the startup battery and PSDB.

You can glean real control of the auxiliary battery from the PSDB diagram (DC-DC converter feeds the battery junction box that feeds the PSDB that then supplies 12V to the auxiliary battery when told to by the BCM/GWM via a LIN).

The description document does a much better job of explaining the relationships of the components than the wiring diagrams do.
