Thinking about buying 2019 I-Pace with 35,000 miles, any gotchas to watch out for?

I’m borrowing a 2019 I-Pace from a very nice dealer for the weekend. It looks cherry even though it’s a 2019. Anything I should watch out for? I’m already falling in love with this car. I never had a Jag before but my Uncle Nick had one in the 1990s and loved it. I’m serious about maybe buying it come Monday. I‘ve had Porches and Mustangs over the years but never forgot how much my Uncle loved his Jag.

"Irresponsible" maybe, but legal and good business sense if a naive customer is willing to buy a product at a premium without researching their potential buy ahead of time.

We can invoke responsibility, morality and legal protections, but at some point the consumer has to take control of the situation and be aware of what's going on in the world.

You need to check if it is one of the few 2019s affected by the H484 recall and has had a new battery pack, in which case it is not subject to buy-back (H514)

Illegal for dealers to sell if subject to an open recall. You can confirm by looking up the VIN number. If the recall is closed it ought to be because they replaced the entire battery pack, in which case it could still be a great car, but I’d want to confirm (and get an extended warranty).

There is also the issue of the wiring harness behind the front motor. If this hasn't been replaced, realize it could get very expensive($7000 to &10,000 ). Same goes for the air conditioning pipe replacement due to a weld on the thin pipe. The whole front of the car needs to be removed to fix these issues.
