Steering wheel controls

I find it backwards that when I press << or >> it changes favorite stations rather than going to the next station. It should be a long press for favorites and short press for up/down. Finding the touch screen to change stations is distracting.

If you know the station, press the VOICE steering wheel button on the left and say... FM 95 point 1 ? Or something like that. It will correct you and give you a list of commands.
There might be a scan command as well, dunno.

I have the opposite preference. I want to use the steering controls to cycle through my favorites rather than pull up the favorites screen. I really only want to search for next available channel when I'm outside of my normal home base. For that, I use the lower console radio controls. I haven't tried McRat's voice command suggestion as I'm pretty comfortable with what I've set.

So I guess the ideal would be allow us to program how we expect the << and >> buttons to work with media.
A lot of other cars allow you to do this, Jaguar does not...

Where I'm located, 3/4 of the stations are Spanish and there's a ton of stations. 'Scan' is mostly a waste of time.
Yes, $19 car stereos have Scan, but then again $150k EVs sometimes lack AM radio.
Tip: Burn a massive 'mix tape' on a USB. Now those arrows let you go forward and backwards through the library.
I mostly listen to satellite radio so I jump to say, 33 (favorite) then would like a quick button press on the steering wheel to go up to 34, 35, & 36.
I mostly listen to Sirius as well. I prefer being able to just arrow through the favorites as set.

I think there was some way I did get it to let me roll through all the stations - might have been by using the wheel and going to media?
