I hope so my navigation has gotten unusuably slow suddenly, won’t update at times, takes minutes to calculate path, and actually becomes unresponsive for periods. I have to say the infotainment is now starting to become an issue now. But it’s all software which makes me more mad in a sense (I’m a software guy).

Here’s to the OTA! Patch Tuesday’s!

at least in England anyway. Hard to say how long it will take to get to the North America market
I had read (maybe incorrectly) that the car would need one physical dealer update in order to enable SOTA. Is that not the case? We will be able to head straight to SOTA?
I would bet no one actually knows the truth

On the Jaguar website it claims OTA is now active, even for telematics and the Battery Energy Control Module. Given the reports are that the dealer takes hours to do a software update and this claims it only takes 35 minutes to update telematics/battery, I am suspect of its accuracy.

Anyone out there have any luck with this alleged feature?

Figures. My appointment is for 7 am, 40 miles out my way and it's raining.

They will probably enable it as soon as I arrive. It was certainly off yesterday afternoon in California.

I am in the UK and just got this email from Jaguar today. It isn’t clear if this is worldwide or just the UK but it certainly
Appears that SOTA is on its way any day now

JAGUAR

JAGUAR I-PACE

YOUR JAGUAR I-PACE SOFTWARE UPDATE

We'll soon be releasing our first wireless software update. This update includes minor bug fixes to keep your I-PACE operating at its peak performance. By being one of the first customers to enable software updates, you can maintain and improve your car's capabilities.

JAGUAR I-PACE

EASY TO ACTIVATE

In order to receive software updates, you'll need this feature switched on in your I-PACE. If you haven’t already, this can be done through the Settings Menu > Software Updates > On/Off - you'll also need to accept the terms and conditions.

I-PACE SOFTWARE UPDATE

HOW TO INSTALL

Depending on your connectivity, there are two ways in which your I-PACE can receive the update:

Through Wi-Fi connectivity
If your I-PACE is already connected to Wi-Fi, it will use your connection to download the software update prior to installation.

Through your personal SIM connectivity
If your car is not connected to Wi-Fi, it will download the software through your personal SIM.

When the 'Software Update' notification appears on your screen, you have three options available:

1. Install now – this will start the download in the background followed by the installation. You can continue your journey uninterrupted.

2. Remind me later – the notification will pop up again after six hours.

3. Skip update – this will remove the notification completely. If you later decide you’d like to install the update, you'll need to do this via your settings.

Once the update has installed, you'll receive a notification at the top of your screen. Likewise, you'll also be notified if the download has failed.

You can also view how to install software updates here.

Please note, for the software update outlined above, you may receive two separate versions that require installation - the first is to prepare your car for future releases and the second is to prepare your car for this latest update. For both updates, please follow the same installation process as detailed above.

So a month later, what is the word on this?

Has the update come out for the US? Also, can my phone hotspot provide the wifi for this?
I don't believe SOTA is widely available anywhere at this time. There have been some reports of some availability in the UK, but not for everyone. On an I-PACE FB group, an owner just posted that JLR Benelux has held some large group user Q & A sessions in which they said OTA will be available 'soon' but still no firm date.
