Well I came from a Cross-Over and loved it so much I wanted another Cross-Over ... and fell in love with my iPace

Came from an Acura ZDX - sorta a weird deal there... they only made them from 2010 to 2013 great car ... hit 105,000 miles and repairs started getting more and more...

Love love love her. My 2012 BMW 650i Convertible. Had from 38k miles (9-2017) to 92k (12-2020) miles with almost no issues. Will miss her, but enjoyed our time together and her reliable days were coming to an end.. Onward and upward with my I-PACE First Edition.

These are photos from when I started keeping track of all of my cars in the digital photo age.

There might be a theme here. None of the silver-colored 911s are actually the same car or same generation... although I'd guess many may assume so. I certainly miss the world of Porsche (I might have to fix that!). The young man in one of them is my son in front of my 997.2 prepared for us to run in an autocross event.

I tend to think that all-in-all the I-Pace stills fits into my general theme.

Tire Wheel Car Plant Vehicle

All gone but never forgotten!
Most surprising vehicle: Mercedes smart car - even at 65 mph on the freeway, it was stable and pin straight I could let go of the steering wheel and not worry about the car wandering
Intro to EV: BMW I3 - incredible torque felt like a go cart, Constant compliments because it was so radical of a design
Most disappointing: Mercedes B-Class - maybe because it was a base model, but after coming out of the I3, the power, pick up, speed of charging, and features were anemic comparatively. Abandoned the vehicle four months into the lease (at times regret it because it certainly did do a good job in the snow, and would have made a wonderful vehicle to transport the kids to and from school for nanny).
Indulgence: Maserati GT- amazing soundtrack, rich smell of Italian leather, but became obsolete with three dogs two kids and my wife not allowing The dogs in her SVR. Could not justify the insurance payments and overall excessive feeling.
