Had my iPace ceramic coated. Cost $900 from my normal detail guy, made a world of difference as it now has a mirror finish. Some pics uploaded...

Crystal Serum Light

Why use Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light?

Crystal Serum Light is the prosumer version of the world famous Gtechniq Accredited Detailer only Crystal Serum - a coating so hard that if applied incorrectly can only be removed by using 1,500 grit sand paper.

Serum Light offers 80% of Professional Serum’s performance, but if applied incorrectly can be machine polished from your vehicle’s paintwork.

When it comes to adding gloss, resisting swirls, contaminant and dirt repellency, Gtechniq Crystal Serum and Serum Light are the pinnacle in paint protection.
Gtechniq: Definitely not for the neophyte detailer.

My baby. Of course, as I mentioned in another thread, I wanted a month or so with no kids in the car. Can see how long that lasted! (maybe a few hours?) Note the handprints already all over the glass roof. :smile2:

I really like the gray, very pretty!

I am happy with it and think I’ll be happier over time as it will be easier to keep clean and shine without waxing. I might like even more candy gloss look but it’s still hardening . Despite my best intentions in the past , I have not really kept my cars’ exteriors up like I should with polishing etc. This will last for years they guarantee (we’ll see) and seems easy to keep glossy

Yes not cheap - About $1,400 for the Modesta BC04 including all the prep and I added PPF on the front bumper/end/headlights/side mirror backs which adds more $$ . The cat arrived on transport from New York and had a few scratches on the front so I saw how soft the paint seems to be and I wanted to protect it. The dealer paid for transporting to me so I basically put that $$ I saved into the coating while still pretty new.
