Hi. My LH rear deflector came.off, possibly on a pothole. Nothing else is damaged and I think the part number is T4K1772. Has anyone tried installing one of these? It has one clip and some tabs, looks like the tabs got ripped open. Can't find a repair manual online so no idea how hard this is to replace, e.g. do I have to pop a bunch of other pieces off too to get this on correctly. Alternative, do I just gorilla glue or epoxy the shit out of this and call it a day?

Mine came loose and pivoted to rub on the wheel and wore the end off. Dealer replaced it.

It came loose again. I put double sided tape and pushed it back in place. That round hole should have an expanding retainer through it (expands by using a Phillips screwdriver to turn the inner piece). Its part number is C2S9354020.

It looks like yours still has the metal retainers on the two outer posts. Those should just push up into the holes and are supposed to retain the piece.

Mine kept coming loose so I installed an additional fastener. The added fastener is on the right in this picture. It's a NAPA 665-5149. Came in a bag of 5. Looks just like the ones on the far left of the picture that are factory pieces. Drill a 5/16 inch hole 1/2 inch from the outer edge of the defector. You can also get another C2S9354020 and drill a slightly smaller hole.

Unlike that other company, JLR steps up and recognizes an unexpected quality issue in something as minor as this, issues a TSB, files it with the NHTSA, and will cover repairs under warranty. (y) to JLR.
