Video of what could be the production ready I-Pace has surfaced thanks to the journalists at Agenda de l’Automobile.

Driving around the Monaco Grand Prix F1 circuit near midnight, the French publication believes the I-Pace was in the midst of an official film shoot for a promotional video. The tracks were already closed for the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix set to take place this weekend, so Jaguar probably figured that they can take advantage of that opening to shoot their video and take a few pictures.

It may be slightly blurry, but the spy video gives up a good look at how different the production crossover’s design is to the concept. Compared to the concept, this vehicle seems to have a larger side-mirror caps, a toned down front facia and a new set of wheels.

But looks isn’t the only feature that’s drawing in buyers, because even before this spy video was released, the I-Pace pre-ordering books were already opened. What is enticing is the concept model’s output of 400 hp and 516 pound-feet of torque on top of a 220 miles electric range on one charge. Jaguar claims the I-Pace can fully charge its battery in just two hours with a 50 KW DC charging network and it is expected to accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.0 seconds or less.

We can expect to see an official reveal late this year before it goes on sale in the second half of 2018.

Impressed with how the production model looks. Just when everyone thought the Model X was the best looking e-SUV, the i-Pace should make them think twice about that. Inside and out the i-Pace is much nicer. Next step for me right now is to see it in different colors, something more EV-like.

The wheels actually do look much similar to the concept wheels. But in terms of color, I would want to see it in the red that they had and a white. I'm not too out there with color choices.

What would a more EV-like color be? Green?

I assume we'll be getting the more generic paints like black, grey, white, red and blue. Not really sure what Jaguar will offer with the I-Pace since they seem to be going for a look that blends into the rest of the cars roaming around. It'll still stand out, but not as much as something like the BMW i3.

Well this is a product that calls for colors like what we see in the picture above, actually that goes for a lot of Jaguar products these days. The difference here is its a green car which is also a tech showcase, stand-out colors are a natural part of that.
