Guess Jaguar will have their own reveal event before the year ends instead of using one of the larger auto shows as a platform. They did the same with the F and E-Pace. It's just the wait that's killing me even though I understand the though process behind the wait.

I know what you mean, even if we get information that talks about Jaguar's plan for EV powertrains I would be happy with that alone because it provides us a lot to go off of. After all, we seen design, not much toning down to do. The only real differences we'll notice in design is how colors either highlight or dull the design.

The camouflaged mules we've seen doesn't leave much to the imagination so its specs are what we're most excited to see. Range, charge rate, how the cabin is heated and cooled, etc.

Even worse that they haven't been videos which might provide some better feedback but probably the most important thing we can take is that its happening. Better than wondering if its still in the works.

We shouldn't be wondering too long with how close to production the i-pace seems to be. Just a matter of time now and we're all excited to see what could be a segment changer.

88th Geneva International Motor Show 8th - 18th of March 2018

Mining the Internet for the honest-to-goodness I-Pace Reveal date seems to suggest another 5 month delay. Motoring on the 5th of October offers the 88th Geneva International Motor Show 8th - 18th of March 2018 as the "revised" date (Tickets will be available in December). Interestingly this is 3 months before the Zurich Formula E race on June 10 2018.

Perhaps they don't want to reveal possible i-pace e-trophy specs too early to their competitors and that's why the release date is being pushed back. But 5 months is a long time to delay something and people may move on to Tesla in the meantime.

Agree. Really too long without news. Musk shown a video of the production line on the Model 3, why not to get something from JLR!!!
My dealer is in the dark also, can we get something before Christmas?

I'd be very happy if Jaguar was to reveal the I-Pace before christmas, at least the production body even if they keep everything else under wraps. Specs would be great, but I wouldn't mind a list of paint colors to keep our minds occupied.

Spotted In Budapest With Extra Sensors

I am looking for cohesive information and I have come to the conclusion that someone is just dangling the nice shiny thing I want all over the place: (no cohesion here)

What happened to the car at Nurburgring? Did no one see it lap the track?
Remember the the I-Pace charging at the mall in Arizona - couldn't the photographer taken a picture of the interior?

Well, here is another one!

Pictures here show the e-Trophy, which is a production i-Pace, with spoilers and aggressive bumpers. See also comparison between concept and early production version, with camo.
Also a spy photo of the interior.

Quick question, standard mean what it will have in the basic model, right? If so the basic will be full loaded already, other options are minor, my advice. I will also mean that the basic will cost closely on the top of the range, if range there is!

No, standard is not "basic model" here.
This is First Edition, the top model with everything. Only cost options are metallic paint and bigger wheels. This version will probably be available only the first year, like the E-Pace first edition.
4 trim levels: S, not available in Norway, SE, with leather and 20" wheels, HSE with more, and HSE First Edition with everything.
Standard here just mean if you don't say anything, you get the oyster headliner, whereas ebony is a no cost option.
20" wheels standard, 22's around $2500 extra...
