Black/black inside. 20" wheels, so a stock FE in red.

My wife drove it home and didn't kill anybody. The car is fast, comfy, and gadget filled. I drove it on our canyon road and had a blast. It's not a lightweight sportscar, but it definitely handles GT-like. The ride is smoother than our other vehicles, too. The stereo is a solid piece, but nothing amazing. 5k in the aftermarket is what it takes for that, no matter the car.

Issues? The dealer didn't stow the tow hook nor install the nav system USB drive. Also they had all tires at 50psi, which I fixed at home. Otherwise it's awesome.

I'm really impressed by the standard FE seats. The lumbar goes farther than I want, which is unusual. They hug me just fine for the twisties. The thigh support extends way far out. The steering wheel comes out farther than most cars. There's still plenty of room behind my 6' body for a passenger.

My goodness does the car accelerate! I love the one pedal driving. I got a timely warning arrow when I did a double lane change and got right behind somebody. The HUD is a must-have. No creaks or rattles.

No regrets.

This one is for the wife. In a year or two, we'll see how the EV market is. I can see us getting a second I-Pace. I wanna try a Taycan, though. No rush. I'll drive my RAM in the meantime.

Welcome!
Yes, the i-Pace is perhaps the most refined EV to date.
For now, you might want to take your time when you 'boot' the car. There are intermittent center console issues when you just hop in and hit it.
There is a update coming, and not all people experience it, but keep it in mind.

Love the i-Pace. Puts a grin on my face every time I crack the whip. Starts a lot of conversations. Most people only note that it looks sharp, unaware it's electric.

Seen for myself a tear down of Tesla motor's and they're quite impressive.

What gets them to perform better than other EV's like what BMW puts out is on a different level. Has anyone here seen a tear down of the I-Pace? Last year I was at the NAIAS show but there were no half cuts :(

Ipace motors and controllers are probably inferior to tesla in power and efficiency, but the rest of the car is crap.

Sorry, that isn't clear whether you think the rest of the iPace is crap or the rest of the Tesla is crap. I assume the latter but would be interested to know either way, and also what it is about the inferior car that makes it so much worse than whatever is the better one.

Other than the motor and battery system, teslas are mediocre at best.
