This is a thread aimed specifically at I-Pace owners, and other interested parties, living in/around Phoenix, AZ. Set up to facilitate meet ups for face to face information sharing, and threads focused on the I-Pace and its performance in a high heat & sunny environment.

I am proposing a "meet & greet" for AZ Valley of the Sun owners. I have PM'd a few of you, but in case there are others that I don't know about ...

Want to meet other I-Pace owners? I'm proposing a get together at the Thirsty Lion restaurant at the Tempe Marketplace Mall on Saturday January 26th at noon. Planning to meet at the north end of the parking lot just immediately north of the restaurant - where we hopefully can park together for some photos before lunch.

If you want to be included, it might be helpful to let me know numbers here so I can warn the restaurant if it gets to be a bigger number than I think. At present, Joshuableu and I are planning to meet. Hopefully, there will be others! And, I expect that this will only be the first such gathering.

Looking forward to meeting other owners/enthusiasts! :)

Meeting today anyone?
Lunch?
Since Joshuableu and I appear to be it, we are changing the location to Charleston's on Scottsdale Rd just north of Bell.
I need to go to Phoenix in March and looked at the fast charge options on EVgo and don't see anything between Palm Desert and Phoenix. Anyone familiar with other charging options or is Phoenix unattainable?
As of now, what you see on the maps is correct, no fast charging options on that route.

PlugShare shows a combo charger in Blythe. You’d need to verify it’s operational before you head out because there isn’t much in the way of slow charging either. It’s an EV Connect at the Hampton Inn & Suites. 50kw fast.
We (Phoenix) are pretty ___ing isolated at the moment. But, PlugShare shows a Hampton Inn in Blythe with 2 Destination Chargers and a CCS charger. 50 cents a KWh. It is showing it currently In Use.

Hi everyone. Seriously looking into getting a subj. vehicle - how does it perform here ? AC and potential battery overheating are main questions. Then FDC charging and out-of town driving (Flagstaff, Tucson) - how doable ?
Any good options for "extended test-drive" (like renting for couple days) besides Turo ?

Love it, have not had any issues even in the hottest days. In fact at 113F drove to Sedona and then flags , then headed back. Stopped once in flags at EA to charge up. Did this a few times.
Drove to San Diego and charged at EA in buckeye and at 118F in Yuma 86kw, no problem. You need to plan your trips and know where to charge if you are leaving town.
In town driving is just amazing and easy. AC works perfectly in 122F battery ok too, your range is reduced when you use AC all the time.

Great info, thanks @SeanM1
I have some experience doing long range in P85, although Supercharging network looks much more dependable than CCS.
Good to know it still works out well.
And it seems your car exceeds ABRP predictions (which says Sedona-FLG trip would require topping off in Anthem, what you seemingly didn't do)

ABRP is a bit conservative, may be it assumes constant speed, so It really has to do with speed, 65 mph is ok but if you want 75 to 80 mph you need the top off. Also keep in mind, from Sedona if you go by old creek canyon the speed is only 40 mph which is ultimate for ipace and gives you super long range. Final point, driving back from flags is down hill and that gives you long range
