Hi all, I just received my I-PACE on April 4th. It's an HSE in Firenze Red with Mars Red leather. It matches really well and the car looks amazing.

I ordered the car from Sill-TerHar in Broomfield on July 31st 2018 but the dealership shut soon after that and transferred the $1000 pre-order deposit to the new Jaguar Flatirons. They had zero allocation for the I-PACE till November (apparently), so although mine was one of the first ordered, it took all this time.

Nice! When did you pick up yours? Did you order it or take one from the showroom floor? I'm curious if I was given accurate information on my order status throughout the process. I was told by Sill-TerHar that mine was third on the list in July 2018 but I'm surprised that the actual order wasn't placed with Jaguar till November.

In any case, it's here now so I'm not too worried.

What are people's normal wait times for delivery after a factory order (continental US)?

I ordered in the middle of January, was just told by the dealer it was "pushed" to the end of May or later. Nice of them to be so specific. :|

I placed my order at the end of November and took delivery on 3/29. They initially quoted mid-April, but the date became 3/29 by around January and they hit that exactly. Loving the car, BTW!

Are they giving you the $5k discount/0% on special order card?

If not, with so many sitting around on the lot, I would bet you could find something pretty darn close to what you ordered; you would the get the car immediately and save a bunch of money...

I ended up with the 0% and $1K off. I was happy with that given it was a special order and at the time I ordered it there were no discounts or 0% deals available.

The $5k is a JLR sponsored discount (see attached). Note it is for ‘select’ cars from dealer stock, which would seem to preclude special order cars. But of course if you refuse delivery of your special order, it then becomes dealer stock...if your dealer is giving this discount, I would shop around. You can ship a car across the country for $1000 or less...

I looked for similar cars - some very close but nothing quite right, and I figure if I’m spending this much I should have exactly what I want (this is pretty much my first “luxury” purchase ever).

We’ll see. I ordered before the 0% deal, and looks like I won’t get delivery until after that deal expires at the end of this month. I’ll work with the dealer, can always walk if I have to...

Oh Yes, Sill-TerHar. Boy did I have a poor experience with that dealership. I had actually put down a deposit to a dealer in CA when I JUST LUCKED OUT and stumbled on Flatirons.

I bought the 1st I-Pace sold at the new dealership. This was in November. Corris Grey with Oyster interior.

Have not had one ounce of trouble. Purrs until it roars!

I'd love to meet up with some of the other Colorado owners sometime! I'm thinking of bringing mine to the Lafayette Cars and Coffee next month. I usually bring my Porsche but figure the IPace might be the rarer car.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, the colour is far better than I had hoped on the car! I originally saw it on an XE and decided it would look great on the I-PACE. Someone has a Photon Red one at work and I think this one looks better.

Tesla used to do a similar colour for the S a few years ago but now all they have is the cherry red.
