Hi All just joined this forum after came home from the dealership having just purchased my I-pace.

I had waited over 2 months for the dealership here to get one in stock to test drive.
I drove it three times today and then put my deposit down YAYYYY.

Pictures attached. I will pick up this week after they "Prep it for delivery."

Did you get some sort of paint protection done as yet or are you still in the process of getting it done?
Keep us posted on how your I-Pace goes, as you can imagine, everyone that doesn't have one... has lots of questions

The dealer had already done paint protection before I picked it up this past Thursday. Car looks fantastic and rained a little today and the water just beaded off everywhere, so has a great clear coat and good wax job.

The Photon Red is definitely an attention grabber. I was stopped at a few light and people were just staring. Kind a weird feeling having people so intently staring at your car and not being able to take their eyes off it...LOL

If anyone has any questions I would be glad to answer.

FYI, #Ormand, I had an HSE on order (to get a couple items NOT available on FE's, such as gloss black grill surround, illuminated door sills). Then when my car came in with wrong headliner, the closest match I lucked upon (very next day) was a showroom floor FE. I gave up the black surround (could replace later) and door sills (says 'First Edition' but not illuminated) but got all the bells and whistles of the FE trim - I especially recommend the full leather wrap of dash, the cloth is inferior and seemed likely to snag. What I did notice is that by going with the FE, I paid only a couple thousand more and got approximately 2x that in options. My point: if you're going for almost all the bells and whistles on the I-Pace, I think the FE may have a slight price advantage over an HSE after tacking on all the extras.
