Great. You've already found out that you know more about the I-Pace than the dealer. It frightened me that older customers or those who aren't tech savvy were getting bad information. I found this forum by shear chance and I'm grateful I did.
I think both could be correct. A vehicle with low miles very few charging sessions could be prone to having some unbalanced cells. Dealer will always white wash these issues or customers with little understanding could become overly concerned. And of course the dealer has zero people from the JLR engineering team. So maybe just relating previous customer experience and giving assurance all is OK.

Here's another data point showing charge rate starting at 50%. This morning I hit a 125kWh-capable Chargepoint DC fast-charger since I was low on range for a long drive today. I started the DC charge at 50% and stopped it at 93%, gaining 35kWh (43%) in 38 minutes. The charge initially peaked near 81kW and fairly linearly dropped to 36kW where it appeared to flatten out before I unplugged.
I used an Electrify America charger yesterday for the first time....and possibly the last.
I had/have two separate issues with the system - and yes I have read previous posts on them..

ABRP: Has anyone used the app recently? Just tried for the first time in months and the updated app seems to insist on using commercial charging sites such as EA over other (free) sites even when the alternatives are selected as preferred.
since a cooling liquid level warning light popped out (apparently there was no leak, just a sensor malfunction) the charging rate overnight has fallen to 4% (3.87 kw per hour), a bit more than half the potential rate. charging the car from 0-100% can take over 24 hours. Is anyone experimenting...
After getting the H280 update from the dealer, my battery health looks normal. Maybe the API is giving better data?
