I am in the same boat. Car at the dealership, module 37 replacement. It's been a month. Heard nothing. I call, nada. I have a loaner, so I guess I have something. At one point they actually said it was fixed, but I checked the app and 72% charged. Come on. Terrible company.
Dealership called me yesterday. I need all battery modules replaced. No ETA.. could be months. I told them I wanted to reset the battery warranty.... we'll see.

That's not how warranties usually work.

Is your car in the recent recall where LG recommends a new battery pack? Otherwise they would have to have found several bad cells. Ouch.

Last week they were installing the new front motor. I see it was test driven on Monday. My understanding was that after installing the motor, they were going to replace that second flagged cell and that they hoped to be ready for a road test on Thursday and potentially ready for pickup today. I checked in today and was told there was a delay in the repair. Not sure if the motor install had issues, if the battery repair had them, but no I-Pace yet. It was 5 months yesterday when I dropped it off for a cell replacement and winter tires (and look at a minor clunk sound from the front end). Ugh.

what’s the record for a single in the shop stint? I must be getting up there?

Craziness. How much is the dealer's fault?

I think very little. Waiting for parts but there has been some fix a, find problem b, fix b and find c. I reported a minor clunk in the front end (felt it in the steering and I expected a loose bushing) and they found a loose steering rack. Replaced it and found a loose motor mount. Fixed that and found the other mount was loose. Fixed that and then decided the motor had loose in it and they just replaced that. Whether one had to be fixed to reveal the next or if they just missed the original issue I’ll never know. They opened tickets with JLR so I imagine some thought went into it. They have been responsive and sympathetic so I can’t fault them. I can only hope for similar from Porsche one day.

Have you entered your VIN in Topix to see if you are in the new H484 recall? Check out this thread: https://www.i-paceforum.com/threads...com/threads/h484v2-i-pace-traction-battery-thermal-overload-elevated-risk.8563/
my vin is 68418 which seems like its in the group but nothing comes up in Topix.

As an aside, I randomly caught up with a friend of a friend yesterday--he used to be manager of a JLR service center--he said he's almost certain JLR will buy the car back(which reading of California lemon law I think they're forced to) at full MSRP and absent that they'd give at least 6 months worth of car payments.

My car is still at the dealer, and there is no known ETA on a fix. They just told me the battery pack needs repair without any other details.

The lemon law in CA is quite clear. A simple Google search with a dose of critical thinking will be very informative. I've been through it, I did not need a lawyer. If your car qualifies for LL, you pursue it ... otherwise you don't. It's easy to figure out if you qualify.

Yeah, I figure that will be the case. The closest Porsche dealer to me is called Prestige Porsche. I never considered myself a prestige kinda guy.
looks like my I-pace is back in one piece. The delay was them needing a new battery seal (that includes the top cover apparently). I am out of town this week, but I think they just need to put the new summers (I will not have seen the Pirelli winters that I bought when I dropped it off in November) and it will be ready when I get back from a road trip with the Évoque. Looking forward to getting it back, but at almost 6 months, it will be a bit odd. Not sure if I will ever feel confident that the dash board won’t shoot an error message everytime I hit the On button.

I felt that way about my BMW after I crashed it. And after a ton of warranty repairs.

Will you please update when you get your I pace back? Mine is waiting on traction battery and a charging fault repair and have no time frame provided. The dealer (Atlanta, GA in USA) is useless in providing service updates.

I think it is pretty much ready. I am out of town this week, but when I spoke last week, they were ordering new summer tires as the winters I had them out on last November are not needed now. I'll definitely report back next week when have it.

Good luck! My single module replacement was completed about 2 weeks ago. Its been charged to 100% a couple of times since with no errors. Car was in the shop for 'only' 2 weeks to complete the work.

You must have rescued a drowning nun in a previous life or something. 2 weeks is just impossible to imagine. I am pretty sure I am approaching 10 months of shop time over the car's lifetime (under 5 years). A month or two early on for the wire harness, 3-4 for 12v battery replacement (it took 3 trips over 6 months with the 3rd being ~3 months) and now 5+ for the laundry list of stuff I had done. Certainly a few multi-week ones in there fort TCU replacement, blank screens etc...

FWIW, I was also told that the delay on my repair has been the battery seal. The modules are apparently available. The parts have been on order for "only" three weeks in my case.

I think they got the seal pretty quickly, but the issue was that they did not think they'd need the seal until after they opened it up for the second time). Hoping not to have a third cell go bad...

I'm from CA and just today, after many months, I resolved my 'dispute' with Jaguar. I'm sad to let go of my First Edition iPace, but I did not trust that this was the last of the battery issues, among other things. FWIW, the head of my local service department said that after the cells were replaced in the cars they serviced, they have not had further issues. However, he railed against the company for making all of us customers wait for many, many months to get these parts. Good luck iPace owners and I sincerely hope that you will have a better experience moving forward. I have always said that I love the car, when it works. I have already moved on to a 2023 Lucid Air Touring Stealth edition. Just an fyi on the Lucid, the stated mileage is grossly overstated if you drive normal, umm I mean fast! The range is still really good all things considered and it's a good car so far. Honestly there are plusses and minuses when comparing the two cars.

When my H441 error popped up, there was not any suggestion that I should leave the car with the dealer. I'm limited to 72% charging and I'll keep on driving until the parts arrive. Are some of you choosing to leave the car at the dealer because you don't feel it is safe? Did your service writer suggest that?
Ha that's a funny question, I laugh because they would not LET me bring it in. I was charging up to 75% (and driving) from August until December and then I turned on the car and had many more warnings including 'Stop Safely'. They not only wouldn't let me bring it in, but wouldn't give me a loaner car. I never drove it again until the parts came in a little over 2+ months later even thought they told me I could still drive it, even with their own software telling me to Stop Safely. My dealer said if I wanted a loaner to take it up with JLR NA. I called them and they said sorry buddy, but we're under no obligation to give you one. They said if you rent one, they MAY reimburse me. Luckily my wife and I were ok sharing a car based upon our schedules, but I was flabbergasted at this lack of service.

Stop Safely? That is not part of the battery recall. You've got something else going on there. $50 your 12v battery is going south.
