Hello, my name is Luis iam from Brazil.
Iam in process to transfer a Jaguar iPace to my mane, but in my city nobody’s knows where can find the motor number identification.
In Brazil, to make transfer need to take a clear picture of the motor serial number.
Does anyone know the position of the number ?
The Jaguar dealer it’s to far from me, it’s it’s very hard to take car there.

You will need to get under the vehicle. Both motors have labels on the ends where the drive shafts connect into it. I've been under the front of mine and it will require removing a panel. It isn't too difficult and is very light weight. Take a picture so you know where the bolts and other fasteners go back in. There are extra holes.

Is this really required for an EV? That reads like an very old regulation for internal combustion engines. What would happen if an electric motor breaks and the dealer replaces it under warranty?
