Jaguar Remote pause charging

Using the Remote, I paused the charging last night. Woke up this mourning to turn it on and it had charged to 100%. Anyone else have this experience? Maybe it is suppose to pause and restart on its own? I don’t think so.

Yes. The same thing has happened to me (as well as many others on this forum). Do not rely on the Jag remote app to pause/stop recharging - at least until they do some serious updates. If you use Chargepoint, I have found their app is reliable to start/stop.

I had the same experience, it said "paused" then when I check in a little bit it had resumed charging on its own.
Good rule of thumb: do not rely on the InControl app for ANYTHING

Ouch, but probably true.:|

I know I have been waiting months for updates to I-Pace before bringing

it in for service. Have not heard anything, so will just enjoy till then.
I had a related problem: I have a ChargePoint home charger and set the timer in the car interface (also reflected in the InControl app) to charge the car from midnight to 1AM during my power company's low-cost Time of Use period. I just left the ChargePoint charger "on" but not to charge until the Jaguar "asked" for the charge. Charging began at midnight but then went for 3 hours and 19 minutes until a full charge. (It did not stop after 1 hour.)

I contacted JLR customer service who had no specific advice about how to fix this. And this was after getting the new battery software patch at my dealer in mid February.

I'm also waiting as long as I can in hopes that new software will come along. My dealer is clearly in "learning mode" on this car!
I have the same problem. Haven’t there been any improvements in the app in all these years?
