Here's the Photon Red Jaguar I-Pace Concept being unloaded at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and it's a beauty! Have to love the outdoor light reflecting off the body and the reflection in that perfectly shined side trim.

No sure if I'm hearing the I-Pace of is that bit of whirring sound is coming from the background vehicles. I think EVs need to have some kind of artificial exterior sound for pedestrians but it seems to be silent when it was driving away.
Probably because it's a concept version perhaps?? Not too sure. But that does look stunning. Would have liked to see the recessed handles moving but nonetheless, it's known that they're there and it's really not that interesting. The dark tail lights add a nice contrast to the red and hopefully that stays. Part of me really thinks Hot Wheels when I see this though haha.
Unless Jaguar has the system here but its adjustable and at the moment its low. I really hope that's true but its not always that one setting will work in all situations. Anyone who drives in the city will notice how unnoticed most sounds EV's and Hybrid make can go.
I don't think those handles move, just sticks out a bit permanently. Would make sense for them to retract once the car is reversing but that wasn't the case. Then again this is the concept model, but if it's not on a concept I don't think it'll suddenly appear on the production model.

As much as I like the large hood indent, I can just imagine all the snow and debris that's going to collect there.
Can't really be that bad of what will get collected in there. And it'll be sealed anyhow so there's not much to worry about at all. I actually hope that stays as it adds to the character of the I-Pace.

Vent are never a problem as long as the proper drainage systems are in place, as well as a mesh. Not the first time a car maker has done this. It`s just about the least of our worries. The upside potential it has with cooling far outweighs any negatives that may come as a result of its construction.

But if you have examples of systems that failed, post them here.
After looking at the Velars recessed motorized door handles, I can definitely see the I-Pace getting the motorized recessed door handles.

But I don't think I've ever seen hood vents cause any damage at all. Maybe the worst to expect would be some more dust and dirt in the engine bay and that's a hard maybe. As the vent doesn't open up directly over the engine, there's usually covers and some sort of filter/mesh thing in place.
Not worried about damage, just things collecting there.
The more I look at those wheels, the more they're growing on me. But they most likely won't make it into production.
I do think they look alright. Kinda hoping they'll come with something like the F-Pace S wheels

Are those the double helix rims? They look great with the black and grey color combination, maybe even better in the silver finish. I'm sure the i-Pace will get its own set of bespoke wheel design as it will be Jaguar's first all electric SUV, but I wouldn't mind seeing this as an option as well.
Either way because it's Jaguar, I don't think I've seen any sort of off-putting wheel design. That and I'm sure they'll share the same bolt pattern so it's always an option.
