Hello!

Not an owner but a dealer at a large store in Socal and I-Pace enthusiast. I don’t own one quite yet, but hoping to pick one up in the next few months when my current lease is up (although I occasionally I convince my GM to BCA me an I-Pace to show off at our local Cars and Coffee.)

If anyone in here has any questions about the I-Pace rebates, lease terms, residual values, MF, etc feel free to ask! We have quite a few in inventory currently so if anyone is looking for a specific car or crazy deal I’ll be happy to help!

Always been an car enthusiast and active forum member for other brands. Wish I discovered this forum earlier!

Welcome!

One of the biggest questions on everybody's minds is when we should expect to see true 100 kW charging and Software Over The Air (SOTA) enabled.

Your closest CCS2 is probably still Baker California, on the way to Las Vegas. It has twin ABB350kW, twin 175's, and twin 50's. So it is somewhat of a pain to test. As of the April updates, no US cars I've heard of have been enabled for 100kW or SOTA.

So we are looking to purchase and I-Pace but the build we want is not common from thorough searches of the Jaguar inventory across the country.

Is it too late to place an order for a 2019? I have seen plenty of posts on a pending 2020 build change, and an article where the JLR CEO blames battery availability for slow sales.

So my question is will the factory still accept I-Pace build orders?

On a side note if you are interested in meeting lots of EV owners, maybe you can get hold of one of the First edition I-Pace cars that was used in the Jaguar Electrifies events and bring it to Refuel 2019 at Laguna Seca this summer.
REFUEL 11 - Clean Power Motorsports Event
Always a fun event and no I-Pace listed yet as a competitor. Speed Ventures puts on a great event and it would be fun to see the Jaguar I-Pace there.
Speed Ventures - Track Event Detailed Information
Several of us drive our EVs up from the LA and San Diego area every year. Wih 200+ mile range and lots of new DC fast chargers its a piece of cake these days.

I’ve heard rumors of SOTA coming within the next few months.
