Hi All,

My Corris Grey FE just arrived! So far it's fantastic.

I couldn't find one local so mine was delivered to Denver for me from Omaha.

The car is perfect except the driver managed to back off the trailer crooked and hit the curb..... Soooo they're getting me a new wheel...

A few quick questions:
1. Mine came with the click and go system. However, I'm short and want my headrest all the way down. How do you remove this thing?
2. How do you get album art to display when you're in FM or XM? I had it on the cluster but it went away and I can't get it on the upper center screen at all. Can you get it on the lower screen?
3. Is there a way to do a custom driver mode?

Thanks!

Can’t help you with the album art, but the click n go has a special little wrench to remove it. It is likely in the bag of goodies in the hatch, along with your activity band (or whatever they call that thing).

What do you mean by ‘custom driver mode’?
Thanks. Do you have a picture of the little wrench? I couldn't find it....

I mean a driver mode where I can select the suspension setting, steering, acceleration etc.

Regards,
If the car has Dynamic Mode, go to the Dynamic icon on the center display. I think it's 2 screens over in the middle. There is a lap timer, g-meter, and settings to play with, which are pretty much ON/OFF, accelerator response, suspension, steering. There is an option to turn sound on in Dynamic Mode, but oddly it's under General Settings (gear icon, under Features?).

You can also switch to TracDSC which is sort of like Traction Control Off, but I play with it on a closed course FIRST. In Dynamic (everything Dynamic), and TracDSC, the car will normally understeer, but can also oversteer.
I did find that McRat - so you have to be in Dynamic mode to then use the Self mode or whatever they call it?

I am not aware of custom driving modes.

I’ll see if I can locate the little ‘wrench’. They showed it to me when I picked up the car, but I don’t remember what it looked like or where put it...

The self mode you are talking about doesn’t do the things you want to do...
I have a couple of roundish things in a bag I found but no idea how to use them to remove the base... I've been googling and can't find anything either...
Here's a terrible video showing how to access Dynamic Settings, Track computer, TracDSC, black out center screen, and change synthetic motor sound. Not all of it is intentional. It should have been a 15 second video. Somebody should do a good job:

"Self" settings are more to personalize the car to your tastes. The car can have multiple users with multiple profiles. Since it's my toy, it just remembers my settings.
I'm worried about my wife taking it someday and her key reverting to all the defaults instead of my key which has customized home screens, and knows what the XM radio favorites are.

hide her key and then offer her to take yours if she needs it >:)
Figured out the stupid click and go! Those round things are the tool... They work sort of like the removal tool for an old Blaupunkt car stereo. You have to push them in until they click then it pulls the metal clip off.

Typical, the guy backs right up into the curb...unfortunate that one but hopefully JLR will sort out the new wheel for you quickly.

Beautiful car though, exact same as mine with same rims and color. I have the tan interior in mine. Enjoy this beauty :smile2:
Thanks all!

So far the only issue I'm having is that some of my settings don't seem to stick - the biggest being position of the HUD and auto dip for the mirrors. Am I missing something on how to keep these settings? The car seems to forget that every time I get in.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I think those are controlled by the Profile settings. Assign yourself a Profile. Mine stay put.
I dont have a profile on mine and the settings stay put from when I turn off the car, although I use the default for the HUD and have turned off the auto dip for the mirrors. But all panel settings if changed do stay put otherwise.
Interesting, I do have a profile setup.

If I don't have auto dip on, is there a 1 touch way to do it on the fly?

Also I turned on auto all windows up and down. How do I make it do that?

Auto-Dip is a check box item via the steering wheel controls. It only works when you put the car in reverse. I'll have to update the post once I get back into my car to give you the navigation.

All Windows is enabled with the Key Fob. Press and hold the Unlock or the Lock button for 3 seconds. In the iGuide this is listed as Global Opening and Global Closing and they are documented in the "Entering the Vehicle" and "Exiting the Vehicle" sections.
Thanks!

I did find the option for the auto dip, I just wasn't sure if there was another way to it. I've selected it several times and it just seems to unselect itself.
