Hi, my name is Luis iam from Brazil and have 2019 Ipace.
I've never liked the Jaguar's entertainment system, as it basically has nothing to do on its screen...
So I would like to share what I did, for many it will be silly, but others may like it...

I had an iPad mini ( new generation ) that wasn't using a lot in home, so I had this ideia below :

All pictures are attached.

1 - 3D printed in ABS a piece i drew. ( if anyone want I can send by email )
2 - Used 3M Double tape to add the support in front panel above the air vents
3 - I cut a steel blade and also used 3M double tape in back of Ipad
4 - In picture you can see I added 10 neodymium in the back ( little strong magnets )
5 - In this way I can easily add or remove the Ipad in the support

Now I do everything with this new screen, Netflix, YouTube, News, maps, browsing ( don't when you are driving 😁 )

I think you could fool anyone driving by that it was part of the cars infotainment. Since it looks integrated at first glance.

But I don’t know why it needs to be mounted where you can see it if you’re not supposed to use it while driving. 😎

Very nice, but aren't you satisfied with CarPlay, which is safe(r) while driving?
