I got into my car this AM and noticed ink stains on the passenger seat.
I first tried to use a soft engineering pencil eraser. No luck. It perhaps faded the ink 10% and left a dual-shaded area.
Then I drove to store and bought isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol and cotton balls. This has always had good results for me, but keep reading.
I soaked a ball, rubbed in the direction of the stain until it was gone.
Discard ball, get a fresh one, and do the next one.
When I was done, the ink was gone, but the grain of the leather started to get 'fuzzy'.
I drove home to get the Jaguar Leather Cleaner to see if it would help. It improved a bit, but it's not perfect. It's still a bit fuzzy.
Lighting was different in both pics. One was LED interior lighting, the other was overcast sunlight:

Sorry about the stain. Can't see the fuzz in the pictures too well, maybe its just my eyes.
I can't see the fuzz either. I took an XJR to a professional interior shop and my back seat was perfect after a huge ink stain.

It's more something you can feel than see. Just a warning to those who are very particular and are used to using alcohol, which is normally 100% safe. It won't discolor the light leather, but it might change the texture a little.

I did a G search for "how to repair fuzzy leather". It came back with links to procedures and products (of course). At least one company has products for ink removal and videos on their use, as well as other advice on the repair of leather.

Stains, scratches, rips in the headliner .. fact of life .. of using the car. Be at peace with it and you'll be a happier person. As long as it's not dirty. 0:)

On my first I-Pace with those light grey seats I noticed jeans stain marks rather quickly. So on my second I-Pace with same seats I cleaned them with CarPro Inside, then protected with CarPro Leather. I've yet to see any marks what so ever.
