I was told by the dealership that the included charging cable is a 120v and doesn’t come with a 220v. Has anyone else heard this? I find that strange that the don’t offer both the car
Does Newport Jaguar have an I-Pace in the showroom now, or just the EVSE cable? At Newport Beach Jaguar I looked at the i-Pace charger, the EVSE that is included with US cars is 120v (5-15) and 240v (NEMA 14-50) by using an adapter, like a Tesla.
Amps? I do not know. They still have not put the data in the owner's manual as of yesterday.
Same here ...Comes with this 240v NEMA 14-50 plug along with a regular 120V household plug. I currently have a NEMA 6-50 socket (which is what Audi A3 e-tron currently use), so I would need to get an adapter.
I do not know. I saw it at the 'presentation' accidently. They did not inform me of the event, I showed up so my wife could look at the F-Type ICE sportscar.Does Newport Jaguar have an I-Pace in the showroom now, or just the EVSE cable?
TotesMagotes reports that only the 110V cable came with the car. Where did you get the picture of the plug, was that actually from an ipace?Comes with this 240v NEMA 14-50 plug along with a regular 120V household plug. This is the only charger that came with my car.TotesMagotes reports that only the 110V cable came with the car. Where did you get the picture of the plug, was that actually from an ipace?
That said, the ChargePoint Level 2 EVSE I had installed a month ago works like a charm and even sends me reminders to plug the car in.This is the only charger that came with my car.
Is it possible that the charger is rated to 240V/30Amps, what does it say on the back? The yellow cable in your picture is rated to 300V. Maybe it's just the plug that's a standard 110 plug and the charger actually supports level 2?This is the only charger that came with my car.
That's from my Jaguar dealer's prototype car. They said it comes with both that can be interchanged. My Audi A3 e-tron came with interchangeable 110v plug and 220/240 plug.TotesMagotes reports that only the 110V cable came with the car. Haha, thanks man, you're taking one for the team :grin2:People in my office think I'm crazy for repeatedly going out the parking lot in the cold to take pictures of a charging cable.
