I-Pace Testing

Here's the test model that is currently testing in the United Kingdom somewhere. This seems to be the first prototype and shows some differences. Front bumper overall looks a bit smoothed out, bigger side mirrors, recessed door handles (which I love), and we can see the charging port on the drivers side front fender. Photo via motorauthority.

Looks like Jaguar kept that hood indent for aerodynamic reasons, but it's a lot smaller on the prototype. There's also those large bumper air intakes that are covered, Jaguar can try but we still see them. :grin2: The side mirrors are larger and there are indents in the side where the door grab handles are probably located.
They seem to have kept the headlight design as well, looks identical to the set on the concept model. Btu I do wish the rear windows were one piece instead of two, gives it a cleaner look that way.
I think both window splits look kind of awkward. Not something that'll bother me too much but I could do without. I guess the rear ones would help with blind spot visibility though.
We can kind of see the dash shape from that picture and there's a sort of bump in the middle. Maybe the production model's infotainment screen will jut upwards a bit?

the overall shape seems to be carried over but projectors are different. from what I can see protectors on the production model is bigger, unless its just in a different lighting mode, but I doubt that,

i'm just happy that overall it resembles the concept
It's really hard to tell if the projectors are different when a large portion of the headlights are covered by camouflage. Looks like they may have kept the LED strip surrounding the main bulb.
Well that's just what im able to make of it from these pictures and that observation is in like with what typically happens with lighting systems from concept to production
Really can't see anything in regards to the headlights design with that camo on there. It'll get toned down from the concept for sure, but I doubt by much.
A good indicator of how close the production model will be to the concept is by looking at the new F-PAce. The production care looks very similar to the concept renderings. We can expect to see a marginally toned down I-Pace in the future.
good point but its too bad that with this being an EV, threw ill always be things different from it to other products thr brand sells and this being a first from Jaguar there's no telling what can be different. All we can do is assemble a wishlist for ourselves for now
