The 2018 Jaguar I-Pace has been spotted near the Nurburgring. Still essentially in full camo with a sticker that says #JaguarElectrifies and #IPACE which is something that should be checked up on social media of course.

I do notice that the grill emblem is missing but typically I thought the ACC radar camera would be located there along with it, on the F-Pace it looks more like a square piece of plastic.

The hood scoop remains which I feel was a crucial part of that front end design, along with the rear hatch spoiler which adds a lot of character.

Not really anything we haven't already seen and the I-Pace production ready model sans camouflage was already spotted in Monaco. The emblem is probably missing to make the car harder to recognize, something common with test mules.

It's a bit hard to make it harder to recognize if the stickers on their already state "IPACE" and "Jaguar" lmao. But yeah I know what you mean, but it's definitely a bit of news and it's worth sharing as it's recent.

No idea how I missed those stickers the first time around. At least we know Jaguar is proud of their new electric vehicle and confident enough to tell the world what's hidden under that camouflage. Maybe they're hoping for a spy photographer to run up and take a few interior pictures for some free publicity.

I'm expecting to see some surprising lap times from the I-Pace because it should be able to quickly accelerate out of corners thanks to its motors even if it's top speed isn't on par with the sports cars.
yes, the level of torque vectoring come out from these will be a big advantage, if they can include enough of that and even some 4-wheel steering it should live up to what Jaguar is known for, hopefully they don't let us down.

Hopefully Jaguar won't drop the ball on this as sales and buyer perception of their halo EV could set the precedence for future electric vehicles. If they fail with the I-Pace, it could be the end for Jaguar EV.
Well this will be one of the first premium luxury EV's to come out so just the fact this is a Jaguar already gives them an advantage. Yeah BMW has an i3 but it's far from living up to the general perception people have of BMW.

The i3 was just horrendous in my opinion, hopefully their i5 can do a heck of a lot better.

The I-Pace time reveals would be closer to production reveal times.
i3 has potential and BMW is lucky that there isn't much like it to choose from, making it a bit easier to look past some of it faults. Some owners I spoke with share the same views.

And it also looks better than the two.. which is obviously subjective opinion but I mean.. come on. Jaguar I'm sure will have pricing under Tesla because it's pretty blatant that they're the closest in competition. They're going to need something to give them the edge over the "Apple" of the EV world.
