Anyone know the cost? It's been in the 80s quite a bit so far this winter (Florida), but I haven't once felt like I needed to block the glass roof. The real test will be this summer, so glad to know something like this does exist if desired.

Even the mid 80's afternoon sun in FL doesn't seem to let much heat in via the roof. I get more heat through the front windshield and the sides. However, it could be a nice addition with a front sunshade to keep the car a bit cooler when left outside.

the one thing I noticed in the instructions were the number of clips. Not sure how convenient it would be to take it on an off. I think the test will be summer here in Florida, or Texas, or Arizona, and perhaps southern California. We have enough forum members in each location to get a good reading.

Looks like 132 Euros, but nobody carries it yet that I can see.

If heat or light are issues, an extra tint might do the job too.

Nice find! I did not know it existed. Might just be the answer to the hat I expect to have to wear. Of course, I have no idea if a hat is needed or not due to the fact that I don't have my car yet. And, it isn't close to summer yet. BTW, the dealer just got the paperwork on my car today!! Means it is either on a truck, or on it's way. I am hoping to pick up next Monday. But, like others, would prefer to wait and have ALL the updates and Topix done and ready to go. It's really hard to stay calm.........

Seems a bit permanent. Not like you can pop it up for a few hours and take it down for the next drive.
I will try to avoid this unless I need to have it on continuous for the couple hottest months.

I've got this accessory in my 2020 I-Pace. While it's nice to have the additional shade, the part is flimsy and doesn't fit very well.

Mine was included in my new 2020, and I LOVE this pano roof shade. Mine fits perfectly and I am stoked that it makes the cabin interior darker and slightly cooler!!

I am in the hot deep South USA - and not convinced I need and have driven and parked outdoors all summer. Factory tint seems to be doing the trick. Might just pick one up for in case of's....... Believe that the pre-condition fixes all with just 5-8 minutes.

Greetings fellow I-Paceians from sunny and HOT Souther California! I have had a few days of early summer out here and became intensely aware of the heat radiating from my tinted glass roof. I am tall 6'5" so my head sits up a bit higher (so I really feel it) but after a few days of this, i began to think about how much more AC and charge I was using just to combat my "ceiling heater" - I found this thread and ordered the sun shade. I realized it was just a mesh material on a frame so I came up with an idea to give it greater heat insulation.

I ordered a roll of foam heat shield thermal insulation from amaz.... and when the Sun Shade - T4K11558 arrived - I laid it out and traced the required shape and cut out the foam. I then installed the sunshade sandwiching the reflective insulation face up toward the glass and the white side down. The results were a better fitting sunshade and a thermal heat barrier that is nothing short of PROFOUND! I ran some errands today and after driving around in the 90°+ degree heat - I thought I would stop and do some testing with my digital laser thermometer..... the exterior of the glass was 122° and the interior celling was 84° with no noticeable heat emanating from the roof line. I was worried that I might miss the "view" from the glass roof and I quickly realized that unless you're in the backseat - you really don't even see it, unless you're looking straight up.

All in all I am really happy with the results and notice the car staying cooler when parked out in the sun.
