The I-Pace is the first model from JLR to offer factory fit Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone functionality. This is one area where Jaguar Land Rover has lagged behind its key rivals, but they are looking to rectify that with their first EV. Due to a long certification process they weren't able to demonstrate this during their original media launch. As a part of their I-Pace Smartphone pack, will also be interactivity with Tile RFID tags, helping people to located lost keys or bags.

To be clear, that video is of their own crappy CarPlay like system called InControl Apps, which they have offered for a couple of years and is absolutely useless.

Android Auto is not available yet in the Netherlands unless I download an apk file to my phone from some other website. I'll wait until it is available in the Google Play store.
