i-Pace Boot / Trunk Lip Height

2760 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  McRat
I've had a look on the Jag site / manual and can't find it ...

Anyone know the boot / trunk lip height? i.e. what height a friend of mine would need to lift a set of golf clubs over to get them into the boot / trunk?

Thanks

And a second thing that would be nice to know is the head height of the open
hatch door. Is the opening height set or adjustable? Just did not want to hit my
head every time I access the cargo area.:smile2:
The number you find will depend on what setting the air suspension is at.

So it's actually a set of numbers. Car without AS. Car with AS at lowest setting, and at default height.

If you are doing an article, if you can find a picture of it open, the tires are 755mm tall, use 750 and scale it in more than one picture. Lens are distorted.

But I seem to recall either an Aussie or UK review video that mentioned it. I just can't remember which one.

I will be surprised if carryover height is new low 'watermark' since the car is advertised to ford 500mm of water and has 755mm dia tyres.

This actually requires somebody to video it. Hatches swing, people fold at the hips. You don't need 6'2" for a 6' man. I don't hit my head on a Cadillac trunk and it's nowhere near 6' high.

I'd be most interested in the largest box that you can put in it with the seats down. Width and height, length unimportant since EVs don't make carbon monoxide.
This controls how big of a gadget you can buy at the store and carry home. This is surprisingly large on a Chevrolet Volt, and ridiculously small on some sedans (cough CT6 PHEV cough).
