My name is Bill. I live in Ontario and I have an I Pace on order for delivery in January. I'm looking forward to hearing what other owners have to say, and to contributing myself in due course.

I presently drive a BMW 650 ix Gran Coupe, but with a 10 KW solar array on my house it makes sense to switch to an EV. I will mostly drive for nothing!

I typically drive 100-200 a day when I drive - which is not every day.as I'm retired and love to walk! It's about 280 kms to Toronto airport where I go from time to time- where I can easily charge. I'm sure I'll suffer from some range anxiety in the winter, but there are a lot of charging stations in Southern Ontario.

Hi Bill

Welcome to the forum...I also have a 10 K Solar Array on my building in NJ. It's not enough juice..I had a Tesla S and put in a 240 v 40 Amp system. Fortunately its under 10 miles to my office so there is no problem. You might want to look at your power panel and designate a separate line for charging. Good Luck.

Not a problem, Katatonic. My solar array feeds power to Ontario Hydro, where it is banked during the summer and drawn down in the winter. (I heat with electricity.) So if I 'm not producing enough power at any point, I'll be drawing from the utility.

I'm getting a demo ride on Friday and will report back!
