wish i could say yes but mine is in the driveway and I'm unable to start it. When I press start, it "starts" but quickly runs through fault notices - gearbox fault, traction battery fault, ASPC not available and then shuts down with the "p" blinking. I tried calling the Option 9 but it wasn't there. I emailed Customer Relations noted in the November 6 letter and they responded they couldn't help me and a special unit would be in contact. Anyone suffer the same BS?
Same exact problem 2 weeks ago. I tried reconditioning my 12V Batteries, but that really didn't help. I bought an Exide EK151 battery on eBay. Installed and all good for now. Whenever I get to turn in my IPace, I will try sending it in without the new battery.

After H514 software update limiting battery capacity to 175 miles, I've notice the Level 2 charger speed is much slower now. Previously the battery would charge at the rate of 15 miles per hour. Now I'm seeing 6 - 8 miles per hour.
Anyone else noticing this?
This car has gone from my favorite car to my least favorite car over the last few years...
My car has lost battery capacity depending on the type of travel, if you do long distance, (260km gives me 0% remaining) fast charge, then on the return journey normally the last 20% remaining can disappear within about 5 minutes, I assume that it has something to do with the battery cooling as the temperature according to the obd2 tool shows the battery temperature to normally be around 40c after that type of trip. According to JLR there are no problems, had two modules replaced so far.... Looks like its time to cut losses and buy something more reliable that has a warranty that is honoured by the relevant agent. Sad times indeed on what is such an incredible vehicle.

I am sure the issue is exasperated by the combination of a 20 percent deficit on charge and very cold temperatures. But I am in the same boat. This lack of range is really an issue. If I didn't like the car so much, maybe I would be less upset. They took a car I really like and enjoy, even with the subpar service, and made it a hassle to own as we wait for the "Specialized Team" to contact us. At this point it is a financial point. I do not feel I should be taking a beating on trading it in when I didn't want to replace the car right now anyway. I would rather they just fix the car. Hurry up JLR! You are losing potential customers every week you drag this on.

Agreed. I did not notice a drop in charge speed, but I never use level 3 and have my charger set to charge after midnight. I saw a comment about reduced charging speed in another thread and looked at my level 2 rates. I am now at 6-7 where I was previously at 13-14 at home. Yesterday, I had to stop at a level 3 charger and only got a 7.3 charge rate. (it was 3 degrees F at the time) praying for a call from JLR and warmer weather...

Well said! Basic forum étiquette I would add! Not only does using the search engine often find the answer more quickly than blindly starting a new thread, or posting, on an old subject, it is more respectful since it saves the time and effort of other forum members repeating an answer to the question or doing a search on your behalf.
Amen to that

Losing potential customers? They don’t sell cars anymore so they have zero potential customers.

I don't think there's going to be a lot of income percentile overlap with current I-Pace owners and whatever comes next at Jaguar so they probably don't care. They've stated that they're aiming for the Rolls Royce crowd and King Charles has already sold his I-pace.

I agree to a point but $125k is not that far from some loaded SUVs or Trucks. When you start talking over 150k I think that’s when the demographic starts really changing. The cheapest Rolls Royce is what $250k? The Escalades and Navigators are well over 100k now.

Land Rover has a large, lucrative business in the U.S. and many other countries. It’s hardly a secret that JLR operates both brands. If I were them I would certainly avoid making enemies among past customers who could be among the best positioned to buy Land Rover/Range Rovers going forward.

They are already making enemies of existing Land/Range Rover customers with the same inadequate levels of service.
Jaguar have already declared publicly that they are only targeting 10% of their current customers for their new range. I guess that their market research is confident on where the remaining customers will come from; that said they certainly won’t be chasing high volumes.

owns 2019 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 HSE
Was it here that someone mentioned February 6th as they were told information was to be mailed out? I realize it’s pure speculation at this point since we have no communication with JLR.

Agreed, my i-Pace replacement had an MSRP above $122k. If would not buy another Jaguar though, as this is the only vehicle they have ever made that appealed to me.

I don't believe any buybacks have happened for H514, sounds like Jaguar appointed the Morely Company to administer the process and I dealt with them on my Chevy Bolt buyback. They were everything Jaguar has not been, e.g. communicative and available. It blows my mind that we have not heard from Jaguar since Nov 6th. Hopefully we hear very soon 🙏

Unfortunately, I cannot find the post again, but on a I-pace Facebook group, someone posted that they were offered 30k for their 19 I-pace with low miles and that was all JLR would offer. Something about JLR said or they just keep the car with the reduced range and no compensation. I will try to find it again but so far, no luck. I am not 100 percent sure this is accurate or if it is a true H514 buyback. . I will post it if I can find it.

I found the post.

Update on my 2019 First Edition Ipace with the traction battery control issue. Jaguar tried the download update but it didn't work (which they knew it wouldn't). Then they told me to bring it in and they would replace the battery. I searched the east coast for a dealership that would do the replacement. I called literally 26 before I found one (most Land Rover dealerships aren't working on these Jaguar ipaces anymore.) The one that I found was 4 hours away. They said yep, we do them all the time, bring it in. I did, and the car has been at dealership for a week. Literally just got a call and dealership said that Jaguar is putting a hold on all ipace replacement of batteries and offered a buyout of 30k. I only have 13k miles on my car and it's in mint condition. They are only offering any buyout of 30k dollars. No more. I had already told them no to begin with. They don't want and won't replace the batteries because it will cost in excess of 38k dollars for every ipace. This dealership has 19 ipaces here waiting with the same issue. Mine being the worst they say. My car was 89k dollars and is still new, garage kept. I'm not accepting 30k dollars for my car. Neither should anyone else. Now they say that if you don't accept their fix, 30k buyout, that you are then responsible for the repair, or drive with the 150 mile max locked range, even with a 100k extended warranty on the traction control batteries, and that they are no longer obligated to make any reparations. What the actual $#@!. They said this is what is coming from the manufacturer to all dealerships as of yesterday.

My first call tomorrow is to the attorney general's office and the department of consumer affairs. What bull$#![.
