Here is a statement in H514:"Recalled vehicles will receive a software update that will alter the maximum state of charge of the battery to 80%." I have been monitoring my charging temperatures while charging with 120VAC. I am posting them here because 80% is in my recording. My 80% is while charging, so the voltage is a degree or two higher than it would be stagnant. Car was shutdown with no HVAC running before charging.
OverHeat when using 120vac to charge:

194f degrees is quite aways over the 175 degrees recommended max. for Lithium Ion batteries.

What is considered high temp for the battery? Was the cooling system running?

That is the ? I also want to know. The cooling system does not run when charging using 120vac. You would never get it charged if the cooling system was running, when using 120vac. I have seen ~176f degrees listed as maximum temperature before you start to damage the battery & ~500f the battery may catch fire. I especially would like to know the temperature H441 will trip your car back to 72% max charging.

OK mine will run the fans for a minute in the heat and will often run what I believe is the coolant pump during L2.

Was recently out in the heat L3 charging for a long drive and the cooling system did not consistently run either. Then the A/C also stopped. I think the battery is being tortured by the software.

@Time2Roll

More measurement data would be useful over vague statements of human observation and description. "Out in the heat" is vague. One person's heat could be another's comfortable or warm temperature.

I just drove a long distance trip with 2 stops at L3 chargers. In upper 50sF temp and starting at 6% SOC with peak 103kW cooling fan on the heat exchanger ran occasionally along with coolant pump (vibrations felt through steering wheel). In 80sF and starting at 17% SOC with peak 104kW the cooling fan ran more frequently and faster, but not continuously. Unfortunately I didn't have my scanner to check temperatures.

The battery coolant is circulated through a section of the heat exchanger radiator for cooling and the A/C is used only if necessary for additional cooling. The heat exchanger fan running does not imply the A/C is running but it will run when A/C usage is needed.

Check reports I posted at https://www.i-paceforum.com/threads/hv-battery-reports-autel-scanner-tool-can-do-it.8773/#post-94946. Those were at L2 charging.

In my case 110F is driving in the heat. 70 mph, 3 hours. Then charging at 80+ kW. Front cooling fans not running during the charge. Not running when the cabin A/C was "turned on" upon departure from charging either. No cooling for the cabin and I suspect no cooling for the battery.

"A concern with the capability of the diagnostic software introduced through safety recalls H441, H459 or H471 has been determined as post software update 2019MY vehicle fires have been reported"

Does this mean that if I haven't had H459 applied yet I shouldn't bother doing it and just wait for H514?

You would only need H459 or H471 if H441 was improperly installed. Were you notified your car needs H459 corrective install of H441? Further delay is at your own risk. Check TOPIx to see if both are listed or just H514.

Yes, I got the letter

Yes, I got the letter that I needed H459 corrective install of H441. TOPIx shows both H459 and H514 for my VIN. The reason I asked was because the note for H514 says that there is a "concern with the capability" of H459. So if it is not doing the job it was designed for why bother having it installed rather than wait for H514?
