Hey guys,

I'm currently driving a 2016 F Pace, and seriously considering making the switch to the I-Pace. I am absolutely in love with the new styling and I really hope its able to deliver on its proposed 200+ mile range. I'm really hopeful that not much changes from the concept to full production model. It really seems like Jaguar has made a stiff competitor for that of the Tesla Model X. Time will tell.

2017?

The U.K. website says range will be 300+ miles which makes sense given the battery size.
What about 2017?

Glad to know that because rare do car makers over estimate what they will provide come time for production and here they need higher range more than anything. People will be looking for a long distance vehicle and odds are this will be it.

Jaguar is relatively new to the EV segment, so we'll see if they can live up to their bold predictions. As they want to have an electric version of half of their current models by 2025, they must be putting a ton of capital into research and development. All of this competition in the EV segment is great for consumers, as rival technologies will attempt to beat out one another.

Well i think what we will see is they maintain sales to a similar proportion to what they already do with the (gasoline) segments they're already in. Unless it turns out that EV's is where they really shine but its hard to ignore the fact they are a bit smaller in scale to other brands like Mercedes, BMW and Audi.
