Fisker Announces a Sub-$40,000 Electric SUV, Coming in Late 2021

Another someone who has a little trouble with keeping promises, but anyway.... and I am a fan of Henrik's designs.....

The design sketch shown above is for an as yet unnamed SUV that Fisker says will drive up to 300 miles per charge.

Fisker intends to sell a three-car EV lineup beginning with this SUV in 2021, which will be sold online direct to customers.
I'm thinking this too is an overly-optimistic timeline. C&D's Clifford Atiyeh is not fawning in this article. A nice contrast from Fred Lambert.

Wish there was more car porn. I like car porn.

I saw a related interview with Henrik on TV today. I like his ideas. Sorry but I can't regurgitate what he said.

I'll be a bit concerned about where these might be serviced. I know where the JLR dealer is, even if the I-Pace might be a bit too expensive ATM.

What...is...that....

Looks like someone watched too many Marvel movies while “designing” that front end.

Lets hope that build quality will also improve on this SUV, because that was a huge flaw with the Karma. Don't know if they will ever be able to build enough of these for it to really be considered a rival to something like the I-Pace.

The Fiskers look great, but I know that the older Karmas had a lot of major problems and quality control issues. Small company in a huge automotive pool. I know they now have better financing so time will tell if Fisker can make it big but history tells us to be a bit skeptical of anything Fisker announces. I am rooting for them and I hope this new Fisker EV can make it to fruition and be successful. We shall see.
