On a wet course, with the 20" All-Season tires, it ran quicker than all ~30 entries at first. Then a prepped national level Miata got me. When I left, no WRX/STIs, BMWs, Corvettes, or BRZ/FRS's had caught me yet. But the track was drying out, and giving more advantage to those with high performance or racing tires. Even the Audi R8 V10 didn't catch me even though the pavement by then was nearly dry.

Notes:

I ran 41 psi cold in the fronts. This was probably too much. Stick the the factory 37(?). I assumed since the car was heavy, I should run 10% more pressure, but I didn't even scuff the sides of the edge blocks. Rears were set at the factory pressure (45? or something like that).

This caused the car to understeer easily. You need to tap the brakes to get them to bite. The car will oversteer as well, but not as easily. This assumes you are have traction control off, are in Dynamic mode. Even with 3 large adults in the car, we were one of the quickest cars there. We were certainly the largest and heaviest.

Sidebar - We also brought out the 2019 Volt, it also ran better than expected, posting a high 43 on OEM all-weather tires, which was quicker than average and easily the best for all economy-class cars.
