Normally I charge at home since I usually only go 20-50 miles a day in town traffic. Thanks to the holidays, I had to use EA chargers for my trip home. I stopped the first time and they had the Fast and Hyper chargers. I didn't want to hog a 350kw so I used the 150Kw. I see the screen and I am charging at 48Kw (I was at 10%). This was Thanksgiving but the temps were in the mid to high 50s F and I had been driving for 1.5 hours so the battery should have been warm enough. I thought maybe the EA charger was boarked so I moved to the 350 since I was the only one there. Sure enough 48Kw agian. Then I noticed the EA screen. It had the 48kw on the left but the right said "vehicle requesting 40kw) What the heck? How in the **** is this car supposed to charge from 10-80 in 40 minutes at 48kw?? Is there some kind of trick to get the car to fast charge??
