Ha, and what are the odds? Of two I-Paces there at the same time at all, let alone two red ones?

Too funny!

What's with the wheel well surround on that one, though? A 2020, perhaps, or was that a 2019 option?

D'OH!
Well, that covers the coincidence angle anyway. Thanks for the correction.
Yes it covers it even better! Since e-Trons are rarer than i-Paces. Great to see them side-by-side. I do prefer the i-Pace but at least in these pictures the e-Tron isn't as ugly as in previous ones. The more the better at any rate!

Agreed. The etron looks much better in these photos than any other shot I've seen. Not exactly a hot car like the ipace, but better than the typical audi SUV. At least in red.

On a different note about EV watering hole's -- I got EVED ( Electric Vehicle Etiquette Dismay) yesterday. Just coined the phrase! And that too by a new IPace owner in Charlotte. I was at a EVGo fast charger at 10 am, in desperate need of some electrons, before a big business meeting. The offending driver had plugged in and left. I waited till 11:40 am and he still did not return. His car was blocking the only fast charger in the area and he had finished fully charging a long while ago!!
Besides the total lack of etiquette, the guy does not realize he is paying big bucks to charge from 80 to 100% as the fast charger trickles much slower, once you reach 80%.

Any suggestions as to how to circumvent this problem? Is there some way to disconnect the charging cable from the offending car, once full charge has been achieved?

I've called the EVgo hotline before (to report a problem, not to ask about policy) ... I wonder what they would say if you asked them.

Here's the thing about EVgo though ... it kills the charging session after 45 minutes and you have to manually restart if you want to keep charging. I have been in a situation before where I did restart because I needed >80% and so my total time at the charger was more than an hour.

So probably for a lot of the time between your 10am arrival and 11:40 departure his car wasn't charging. Which makes it worse and I totally understand your EVED.

As for the disconnecting a cable on an offending car .. I doubt any manufacturer allows disconnecting without unlocking by someone with a key. Maybe others here will know for sure.
